Hypothetical Running Back Scenario

Williams sits out the first four games (reality, not hypo), Ronnie Brown and Sammy Morris prove to be an excellent 1-2 combo....and Ricky becomes expendable. Becomes a win-win for the Dolphins because the running back situation is taken care of and a Williams trades allows the club to address other positions of need.

that would be good but we would get better value if Sammy proves to be a legit starter and we move him..I dont see RW having much trade value ever unless an owner (Al Davis/Snyder) become obsessed.

Sammy Morris will never prove to be as good of a back as Ricky. If Ricky returns to his former self, then I don't see any way Saban will get rid of him. Ronnie and Ricky could easily be the best RB tandem in the league. What would we get out of trading Ricky to address other needs? No one will give up a high draft pick before he plays a real game.

Gee this question hasn't been asked a thousand times already. According to Nick, Ricky will not be traded. Final word as far as I am concerned

On a side Note I love the fact that the competition to ne the Fins #1 Back will bring out the best in Ronnie and Ricky.
