You’re Grier. Your medical team tells you that Tua won’t be the same again and Cincy takes Burrow 1.

How do you handle the QB situation next year?
What players, and where do you target them.

Herbert or trade down for draft stock to take someone in 2021, along with a developmental guy in 2020.

You can only trade down if there's someone valuable enough to make a team want to trade up. Will there be at 3-4?

Otherwise it's anyone's guess.....Burrow, Herbert, Chase Young, Andrew Thomas, Wirfs, Okudah, Derrick Brown, etc

I guess it comes down to the evaluation on Herbert. On physical skills alone, he might be the top quarterback in this class.

If Miami likes him, trade up. If not, take either Thomas or Young. Both are building block types of players.

Love or Hurts as developmental quarterbacks with maybe that last first round pick.

It may well be that Herbert was Miami's guy from day one, but if not (and if Chase Young is gone), a trade down is ALWAYS a good idea for a bad team.

More picks... more better.

If I ever get the chance to work for Miami the first thing I do is fire the entire medical staff

I think Justin Herbert last to the middle of the first the only other team I can see taking a QB not Cincy is Chicago maybe Tennessee but those are 2 teams that have been duped into taking a QB in the first round the past few years and maybe the are a little cautious. If I am Miami I am taking Andrew Thomas even over Chase Young.

Thomas or Young. These are players I think are rated way higher than the rest of the available QBs. Then, as most have said, look for a QB with the other pics we have in the 1st Rnd.

I think it is critical that the Dolphins draft higher than the Broncos. I was really upset when the Broncos gave away yesterday's game against the Vikings.

I don't trust Elway and do not believe that he will be content with going with either Flacco or Lock in 2020. And if he doesn't draft a QB it will be because he will have found a team looking for a QB as a trading partner for the Broncos first round pick.

I honestly think Herbert is on the top of Griers wishlist and always has been. I'm thinking he drafts Young if he's still there at 3rd overall and tries to come back up for Herbert.
I'd love to have Tua but I just can't see Grier picking him up after everything that's just happened.

Bengals very will may prefer Herbert to Burrow, we don’t know. Bengals coach was Tannehill’s QB coach. Herbert shares a lot of traits with Tannehill.

I think you have to take a QB high this year regardless. You can’t defer another year waiting for the perfect situation. We all saw how difficult it is to tank and get the targeted player. What if they forego a QB this year and Lawrence suffers a catastrophic injury?

Got to get their guy this year. I’d double down, get 2 QBs and let them all compete with Rosen. Hopefully someone would emerge as a viable long term franchise QB out of that group of young guys.

This team can't afford to keep whiffing on QBs. I think Ross is too.
