The Fins are in right now, going in to a team like Jville, a team coming off a hard fought emotional win. I never understand how we could possibly lose this game. Good teams don't lose these games. We've been in this situation before and they have disappointed before. But how do teams like us fall victim to these games where we overlook the opponent? How could they possibly be unprepared for the "trap game"?
You should be able to turn the ball over 5 times in this game and still win. No excuses. If the Fins lose this week that's means Thill would have played terribly. But as a whole the team would need to be dismantled at the end of the season. No excuses. Unless we miraculously finish 10-6
I would think these guys and teams in the past would already have this mastered, preparing for the Trap game. I would think the coaches alone would be able to safe guard it. Losses against these teams in theses situations are a mystery to me.
Me personally...I think we may finally have a winning mind set and these players know it and want to run with it. Ya know last weeks Chicago game showed me something. Our D played against a top notch offense on the road and shut them down. I mean this is where we usually watch our Dbacks get abused all game long. NOT LAST WEEK. Finnegan to me was awesome. Causing a fumble, blocking an important pass, and shutting down Marshall at the end. And Wake was a beast as usual. And the offsense is finally scoring after how many years guys? And looking confident doing so
I don't know, I really want to buy in, but I've been crushed by this team too many times. But there really seems to be a very different attitude with this group. All the arguing on this board is going to remembered as classic forum rap...... IF.......Thill has turned the page. How fun would be if this time next year we're running full throttle and we can say we watched the progression from the start.
