that ginn will not be a dolphin for long after catching the ball from chad, trying to sweep back to the other side of the field which lost us 5 to 7 yards when he could have cut it in the middle of the field for a 3 yard gain, i think, he believes he is still in college that bs does not work in the pros. i always have given him the benefit of the doubt because they have not figured out how to use him on the offense but that stops now

if u didnt NOTICE he was tryin to get the 1st down b/c his route was about 5 yards short of it so going up for 3 would have done nothing but trying ot make something out of nothing is waht he was trying to do. wath it more carefully bfeore u just bash the player.

The play in question was a 3rd and 11 from the Dolphins 3 1/2 yardline. Ginn ran a crossing pattern, caught the ball at around the 7 or 8 yard line and had Ray Lewis and a corner cutting off his route to the outside. He was easily 7-8 yards short of the first down and tried to cut back to the middle of the field in an attempt to pick up the extra yardage.

Obviously it didn't work and he was tackled at about the same yardage in which he caught the ball. Nothing he would have done would have come close to netting the first down so I don't understand what the big deal is. At least he didn't run out of bounds, right?

Uhhh....so you are saying he is gonna be gone for TRYING to get a first down?? He was stuffed where he was and had to try something:rolleyes:

so now we're ripping him for trying to make a play?

Pennington was trying to make a play when he was intercepted by Suggs.

It's what we fans do. complain about everything..LOL:lol:

The only thing i want to see in Ginn these days is making himself a good target consistently. I read here from people at the game that Ginn was open deep on a play.. but that is only one play.. and if i remember correctly the Ravens Dline was getting decent pressure all day and Pennington was kinda rushed on that play.

Just want to see Ginn continue to develop. He'll get his chances.

I watched the game at home and he looked open several times. Pennington just overthrew him once and late in the game under threw him. I'm not ready to sit Pennington but after these first few games it's obvious he's a "game manager". I just keep replaying the few snaps Henne got against Arizona where they were trying damn hard to stop us from getting yards. He found Ginn 2 or 3 times on the drive. He had a rocket for an arm with nice accuracy.

I believe we'll see Henne sometime this season. When, is a question of it's own.

Ginn made some good catches yesterday, lets give him a break on this one.

people just want to *****. like yall said, it was 3rd and long, he wasnt gonna get the 1st with that route, so he tried to make a play.

and before some idiots say anything, its not like HE picked the route to go 7 yards short of the 1st.

Yeah....right...no thanks!! Anderson goes 14-37 today for 136 and Brady can't even get in. Maybe that tells you something

tells you that the coach is sticking with his Qb that won 10 games last year and made a pro bowl. Let me see dont bash Ginn but Quinn sucks because he is behind Anderson lol.
