This is a blessing in disguise I think. We could now end up with the next Mike McCarthy, Sean Payton or John Harbaugh. I like it!!! Chudzinski, Zimmer and Toub should be at the top of the list!!! I have heard a lot of positives about Toub who is flying under the radar. Players love him and he is an attention to detail guy who is well respected.

Face it, Fisher is a retread. Lets get an up and comer like Chud or Toub to come in. A guy with enthusiasm who players love to play for.

This is exactly how I feel. Lets go for greatness instead of above average. I don't want to just make the playoffs, I want to win. The trend in this league over the past few years is the young innovative coaches are having great success. Lets get on that band wagon. Get a guy who wants to prove himself and is looking for his chance. I hope whoever it is can bring the Phins back to greatness. I really don't think Fisher would ahve done that.

Retread? Chud and Toub have no tread.
What little hope I had for this team just went down another notch.
Choosing Ireland over Fisher?
This is Dante over Brees all over again.
Just idiotic IMHO..

A fisher hire would have been little risk, high reward.
Hungry coordinators are a total gamble, and this organization has constantly proven to pick the wrong guy. This is just like last year. "Woo we get a new coach, and we'll fix the QB position" It's groundhog year.

If I had to put money on a horse in this race it would be on Zimmer. IMO his ties to the Cowboys and the fact that Ireland knows him makes him the guy to beat.

Give a nother assistant a shot. if he fails oh well well have a shot at matt barkley.

I am hoping they give "Chud" a shot. He has roots in S. FL from his days at the U and has an aggressive offensive.

On to plan B.

The way crap happens to this team we should get ready for plans D, E, and F.......then finally end up somewhere around plan X. Some highschool coach who led his team to a 2-9 record. But hey he's probably offensive minded so all will be well.
