It is hard to be positive when a team blows for 10 years. It is hard to be positive when quality free agents refuse to sign with the Dolphins, because they know the team is dysfunctional. It is hard to be positive when the head coach is supposed to be an offensive line specialist and that is the weakness of the team. I can go on longer, but I have to go to work to make money.

For the record OMoron Kelly blamed the fans a couple of days ago. Idiocy runs rampant through the media and FH.

Perhaps money bags is Omar?
 
I certainly think the "I make money so I can't read your response" thing was a bit ridiculous.....but short of the 11-5 season we are absolutely looking at our best scoring team we have had. When else have we been able to have so much confidence that when we get the ball we have a serious chance to score?

People please stop acting like signing Luck would change our world. Nobody here can even wait 2 years for our QB to get in his groove but you all think firing the coaching staff and GM, and signing a rookie would change that. Like everyone wouldn't bury everyone when Luck threw his first interception.....I can already see all the "Luck is a bust" threads.

SECOND - Henne has played great, not good. Numbers aside since they mean nothing, I can't believe how well he has performed against the pressure he has been subjected to. He has shown confidence, toughness, command of the huddle and a surprising improved accuracy. Rushing yards excluded since I hate that from a QB cause I am old at 36.

THIRD- Losing to NE and HT isn't the end of the world. Both games were close into the 4th, and both were good teams. No off-season, new system, new OC. What did you expect? This is a young team with a young QB and we will probably have to wait another year or two to see where it is at. 4 years ago they won the division with gimmicks and Brady injured, this team plays you straight up, and I like it. This is the best team Miami has had in 10 years.

It is a sad day, not because they are 0-2, but because football fans in America are so clueless. It is embarrassing....for you. Complain about the OL, which is justified, or the lack of pass rush. Anything else is a joke. I probably wont respond after this because I make money and I don't have time. Instead I will leave it to the countless hordes who think they could make better decisions.

first of all, your point about how the coaching staff didnt miss tackles, miss field goals, drop a td, etc, is a very bad argument. their is no coach on any team who actually does all of the above listed. the coach just like they get credit for when their teams win, even though they dont catch touchdowns, make tackles, force turnovers, etc, they get the blame when the opposite happens. also with bush, the coaching staff is not using him right. you dont need to be a rocket sciencist to know he cant run in between the tackles, but where is he in the passing game or punt returning game? those are his 2 biggest strengths.

second. you said chad henne has not been good, but GREAT. that is far from the case. Now has he improved since last year? well, its too early to tell if he took that next step like we all hoped. so far, he has been better, but better from last year does not say much where all he had to was up.

he does look tougher out their, he does seem to be taking more chances, he does look as best as ive seen him running with the ball, and those are all positives. however, hes still not finishing those red zone trips with touchdowns, hes still staring down his wrs a little, which are leading to way too many batted balls at the line of scrimmage. so has he upgraded his play so far from last year? so far yes. has he been great like you said. not even close to great.

third. losing to New England And Houston is not the end of the world. No, the world will go on, but in terms of football which is what we are here to discuss, those were both very pivotal losses, especially to New England at home.

As for both games being close Into the 4th. Well the pats were up by 11 pts going into the 4th. Now for many teams, being down by 11 pts going into the 4th, while not a small margin, it is very possible to come back. However, considering how on offense we have such trouble scoring, and whenever we do, it usually takes a long scoring drive and perfection on everyones part, that is a pretty big margin. Also considering we were not able to stop the pats on defense once, that 11 pt margin was a lot larger than it seemed.

the houston game was alittle closer, but once thomas fumbled every fin fans knew we were doomed( no i did not shut my tv off then, as i watch every game till the last second, but still we all knew then it was over)

And please, dont tell us how we prob have to wait another year or two. we have waited forever to see this team be good again. This is a team that not so long ago, was a superbowl contender year in and year out, was consistently making the playoffs, was a proud franchise, etc. you would never here talk about a top 5 pick in the draft, let alone a top 15, and most years top 20. now its a common place for miami to be drafting.

This team needs to win now. Us fans who dedicate lots of our time to the dolphins are getting tired of the same old crap over and over again without it being fixed. something must be done, and now.
 
You can see it any way you like....but Henne is playing better...Henne is not playing GREAT...that would be the unobjective view of any expert.

Also....losing is losing is losing.....when you can't even win games at home half the time...your team is getting ready for a regime change.

This is exactly why all the ranting has no merit here most of the time and the hate is ridiculous!!!! From one sentence to the very next........we have waited "FOREVER" to be good, but the very next sentence "NOT SO LONG AGO" we were a SB contender year in and year out.

So we were a SB contender AND waiting to be good at the same time?? Which one is it?

when i say not so long ago, i dont mean like 1 or 2 years ago, im talking about like as recent as like 12 years ago. thats still a lot, but thats why its also more the dissappointment, we have gone from that, a respectful team, a proud franchise, to a team that is constantly picking in the top 15 in drafts, usually top 10.
 
Guess I will respond and make a little less money today. My post was edited, so the context of much of my posturing was lost. Since there is little to respond to, I will just say this. I am not blaming the fans for anything except spamming this forum with negativity.

Some of us view this forum as a source of information and to read valuable perspectives from enlightened fans. Point me to one of those threads so I can continue to enjoy my time here.
