If Joe could not see that Sherman was a major problem on this offense, he does not deserve to be the Head of this team. As a HC you have to make tough decisions all the time and if you are unwilling to do it because of personal loyalties, step down and let some else lead that will put the team first.
As a head coach Philbin did fire Sherman. Lmao this is a dumb thread, he knew Sherman was done as an OC. I'm glad he didn't trash his staff member and friend. Sherman wanted to be fired rather than quit so he can collect his money. You don't just fire people 1 day after the season. It's been 1 week, get off your prenatal vitamins and let it all sort out.
