Ossia. is 4.4 in the forty. I love the way he hits an drives thru the tackle

Collins is another beast with speed play maker

i hope one of them is there in second round. Or do we go for top center ?

So was Ossai primarily used as a rusher at TX? How is he playing the more traditional LB role?

I don’t think we will use a round 1 or round 2 pick on a LB given how much nickel we play and we are pretty set with Baker, AVG, and McKinney. Unless we are moving to a 3-4, I don’t see it.

Zaven will be a 1st after his pro day on Friday.

Baker is on the last year of his rookie contract, and McKinney can be cut at any time with no cap issues... plus we let Van Noy and Lawson go...

This is not a group that is guaranteed to be here long.

I think Zaven Collins is a hard guy to pass on at 18 (but we will). Everyone is going to love that athletic ability. I think he ultimately goes in the 20's. I couldn't envision he's even on the board at 36 to make it a conundrum.

I don't know as much about the Texas kid because, well, he went to Texas.

But then that means you take a guy who’s probably not gonna play a lot. I guess that could happen but I wouldn’t like to shelf a guy in round 2. I think we need starters there. Just my take, you could be right if these guys are viewed as pass rushers but I don’t see them as that.

I think 36 is a RB. Very surprised if it's not WR, Edge, RB, C for our 1st 4 picks in that order

i don’t know about that order but I think you got it right position wise. Edge being a possible hybrid

Miami could make it a all bama first 2 days too especially if they pony up picks

I'm not one of those people who think that a high round player has to play a lot in their first season... If that is the criterion, then, you are correct... most of the Linebackers won't be valuable.

I'm not that guy though, and our LB core is very much a bunch of rented players. McKinney might be with us for two years max, and I suspect that we let Baker walk after this year. He's better than average as a coverage LB, but he'll want to be paid top 5 money and he just isn't worth that.
Van Ginkle looks like a tough rotational player or mid-level starter... if he's more than that, I'll admit to being wrong.

I would run the card up if Zaven Collins is on the board at #36.

More likely he goes in the mid 20's which i why I am keen to trade back a bit from #18. Ojulari is another defender who should be in that area.

IF Darrisaw or Slater are there at #18 I would stay there and take the OT.

I like Ossai at #36 but he might be gone too.

OL might be the best value at that pick or possibly a S like Jamar Johnson.S is not a huge need but the value in R 2 should be very good with guys like Richie Grant and Elijah Molden in the mix as well.

Humphrey might make it to #36 but he is also in that late 20's to early 30's range where Miami might just miss him.

A lot will depend on what happens at #18 but the biggest need areas to me are pass catcher, RT(I want Hunt mauling people at RG next to a legit pass protector), and then a front 7 defender either a true LB or an edge guy.

Radunz is another name for #36 or possibly #50.

After that it should be RB, C and S in some order. They can wait on C and S until 2022 as they are solid there for next season but i would love a young C in the program and lined up to take over after the coming season.

Collins or Owusu-Koramoah would both be great picks at 36
