Aside from the "if this happened or that happened" remarks that usually pop up ... this team played their hearts out last night. They stayed in the game until the end.

For me, it was satisfying after watching the previous 2 games out West. Moral victory? Not in my eyes... a loss is a loss.... but after a 3-game road trip and losing the first 2, this team showed a resilience we haven't seen in some time.

Last night was a playoff game. The team played like it was do or die. I am on record saying this team is going nowhere if they continue to play the way they played on the West Coast .... but they didn't. The team that played last night are playoff contenders ... and they have shown that on the road or not, weather be damned, they are in it to win it.

I'm not a big fan of the "if" word game.... the Dolphins need to play as a team like they did in Buffalo in order to move the needle further up.... they showed last night they can and with the remaining schedule they need to continue that same momentum .... Sure, that's a "Captain Obvious" statement but we have seen this organization go the opposite way plenty of times in the past ... last night they turned a corner IMO.

Well said! This team battled throughout the game.

Good take.

But let's fire our first year head coach already who had turned this team around in a short time.

Have posters forgot Flores against these same bills?

And I couldn’t agree more. We had the better game plan. We limited Diggs and Davis and made Knox beat us. That’s what Belichik would have done. I said in another thread we had more of our top players on all sides of the ball that made more big plays than their guys. The difference was their superstar QB and his dual-threat big plays. In the end it was dead even in the box score but yea, I agree w cowherd. We had the better game plan. Run on those 3rd and shorts and it’s possible we win. Also, don’t go for two so early in the game. We would have had a 9 point lead. I guess my point is their McCoach was better than our McCoach - not in game planning - but in game time execution last night.

if you had told me we'd be 8-6 at this point before the season started, I would have been elated... the way it has played out recently has me a little bit bummed but let's face it, this team has played at or slightly above the level almost everyone predicted they would play at. We still control our own destiny -- coach needs to pull his head out of his ass if we're to make the playoffs, though.
