To everyone here that I did not listen to when they said we were in trouble this season. In my fandom I kept on viewing the team through the aqua and coral colored glasses, and drank the dang koolaid that kept me thinking there was reason for optimism.

I was hoping...praying...the Dolphins would be a relevant football team again. :(

At times I thought I was being objective, throwing out mild criticism here and there...team support here and there, but not nearly objective enough as I look back on it now. I pride myself on my knowledge of the game, and am absolutely embarassed by the fact that this team suckered me again. Fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice...well, you know the rest.

So...here I am eating my crow and offering my public mea culpa to those who saw the writing on the wall I so clearly ignored.

I hope some season soon we can all gather here every week only to discuss how dang good this team is, and what an awesome Super Bowl victory that was.
 
This team is only great at one thing and that is killing optimism. I don't think there is a team in the league with less hope than the Miami Dolphins.

That's really where I am at now. I am beat down. As I sat and watched as the game went along I could perfectly predict that settling for FG's and Carpenter's miss was going to f*** us, and I knew that Cleveland would shove it right down our throats and score when they needed to, and that we would choke on our last possession of the game. None of it was shocking or a surprise. It was the same song and dance I had seen so many times before, that I could only sit there and laugh.
 
Wtf are you sorry for? This team sucks the fun out of NFL Sundays! Constant failure and then the embarrassment of watching a fist pumping clown to boot! Now that the media is on to him it is only going to get worse! One person should be sorry! ROSS his impotence caused this.
 
Don't feel bad, my friend, I was right there next to you predicting a 10-6 season and slamming the talking heads predicting a 2-4 win season. Crow tastes like crap!

Maybe I still haven't learned, but I still think there is too much talent on this team for them to play as bad as they have. A new coaching staff that knows how to utilize their players and can get them to play to their full potential, could do something with this roster. Sure, there is plenty of dead weight that needs to be cut, but there are some solid pieces there for the next coach I think.
 
it won't be long now before henne is out injured behind this oline...just a matter of time...its bad now but we've seen nothing yet of whats to come
 
Its not the fact that people were wrong it easily could have gone the other way and you would of been right. Each season is basically 50/50 only one team is going to win the SB and everyone else is at home. So its not a matter of aplogizing its just realizing that **** happens to be honest, im not to broken up about any of this i have no control over it so why cry about it.

Agreed. It's too bad too. Henne is playing much better than he did last year, and the fact that he is doing behind this o-line makes it a bit more impressive. Sure he still has his issues, and I am not saying by any stretch that he is our QB of the future, but so far this season anyhow he has been the least of our problems.
 
hennes part of the problem with the red zone efficiency but by far the biggest problem on this team is the ghastly oline...its the biggest ugh by a mile
