I really feel like this team can do something really special this year. We have the perfect roster, the perfect coach, the perfect GM, and the perfect owner, to sink this ship, and get Andrew Luck. I am REALLY excited. We're so close, DON'T LET UP.

Lets do what? Were 0-4 and on our way to one of our worst seasons ever as a defense. It's ok to be optimistic but damn that ship has sailed. Andrew Luck here we come but with our Luck he'll be gone by the time we pick :(
 
Andrew Luck is not going to solve the offensive line problems, the lack of pass rush on defense or the secondary.

But he solves about 90% of this franchises problems. Nobody think Luck wins us a SB in the first couple years. But he is a "face of the franchise" a guy who will be an elite QB in this league for many years to come. IT'S THE FIRST STEP TO BECOMING RELEVANT AND NOT CONTINUING TO BE A BOTTOM FEEDER NFL TEAM!
 
I just don't get how a defense can regress so much in one year. Crowder talked a big game but we miss him stopping the run, he still couldn't cover TE's but what has Burnett showed that Crowder didn't do for us?
 
Lets go Vikings, Colts and Chiefs. The chiefs got one today. Now time to route for the Colts to upset the Bucs Monday night.
 
People on this board are scared to draft a QB in the first round.

I guess these same people love mediocrity.
 
It does seem like the stars are aligning for the 1st pick. Hope we don't screw it up by firing Sparano. I think we have a real chance with him leading the way. We still have to worry about the Colts and Vikes as they too may have cashed in their seasons (think the Rams will win in that division). However, Sparano is our ace in the hole that gives me hope. No way the other teams have coaching as bad as ours.
 
We don't have to worry about the Rams, they won't take Luck.

1) Jones isn't a FS
2) Wake is not an elite player anymore
3) Sean Smith isn't a starter in this league, never has been
4) Vonate isn't a #1 CB in this league, more like a solid #2 CB
5) Solai is pissed he didn't get a long-term deal once the lockout ended

Recipe for disaster
