Today, I was thinking about all the QB's who have been rumored to have interest in signing with Miami, or who have been linked in some way, shape, or form. I started thinking from a FO perspective and thought maybe they are visiting with these QB's; Peyton, Flynn, Smith, and maybe Garrard to make US the fans think that they are "looking" for our QB when on the flip slide are going to roll with Moore. At least until the draft begins anyway... They may figure, "well we will roll with Moore, but let's make the fans and media believe that we are truly finding a replacement, so when we strike out, they can say we gave our efforts." Now this is just my opinion, and maybe I am somewhat in denial, because you don't let Flynn leave IF you know he is OUR guy. Or maybe they just don't think he is actually the QB that some seek him out to be since he has now signed with Seattle, but you also don't play back and forth with the guy on his money either especially when Mr. Ross stated that he is "willing" to spend. I say I may be in denial, because if we are looking at Smith or Garrard as a replacement for Moore, then we have some serious question marks upstairs...

Now I am not saying the I am against Moore being our QB. His history shows he has always been in a system or team that either was collapsed or he was thrown into. He played well considering no camp from last year, and the fact he was thrown in after Henne went down. He hadn't really had the time to build "chemistry" with his offense, but I believe he can perform far better than what he did last year, this year, for the fact that he is in a "contract year" and will have the time and practice available to gel with his teammates even "moore."

So who knows? While our FO does look incredibly questionable right now, and have for some time...
What would seem intolerable to be a no show for a QB signing on our FO, "could" end up being the best most stupidest move yet! If that makes any sense...

I am starting think similarly. Matt Moore only costs us 2.5 mil. think about that for a second.

Second, Philbin said we are building through the draft.

Third, we are seemingly letting other teams buy the guys for 10 mil/year and filling up the void in the market so that by the time the draft comes, we only have one or two teams to worry about (Cleveland and Arizona?).

Fourthly, Denver gets Manning, Tebow will go on market. This guy would fill the seats. Alot of them would be women.

No one is buying tickets for garbage Tebow.

Stephen Ross is going to enjoy 25k season ticket holders next season.

Tebow = final straw. How about filling the stadium with Dolphins fans by building a winner rather than filling it with Gator homers? If Ross is just looking for a quick buck, the latter would make the most sense. If he's looking to make money long term, he'll be trying for the former. So far I'm not convinced that's the case.

A trade for Tebow would be absolutely sickening and most likely the last bull**** awful move that I would accept as a fan.

I would have to step aside as a Dolphin fan if Tebow was brought in. I am a die hard Fin fan, but Tebow would most certainly mean death.

I have to agree with the OP. Further, I really do not know what I will do if we get Tebow. I do know I will cancel my NFL Ticket.

Heck No Tebow! I wouldn't think our FO would be THAT crazy, but then again, you never know.
Though with less teams needing QB's now by signing via Free Agency, this could help our chances to land a QB in this or next years Draft. Hopefully Barkley...
Though it does seem like all we do is HOPE and the end result is filled with misery.
