I blame Brandon Marshall

Once again we were running the ball well with D Thomas.

I was impressed with his 3.1 yards per carry
take away his one decent run and he was 14 carries for 32 yards

or 2.1 yards per carry...YEAH HE WAS RUNNING THE BALL REAL WELL

It's delusional to think BMarshall's play shouldn't even be debated. Like he's somehow above criticism. Bull****. I'd love to be able to defend BMarsh. He's got a ton of talent. But he's played like ****. He has played like **** his entire time with us. It's also ridiculous to keep saying he put up 100 yards on Revis, when he got almost half of those yards on one play that was busted coverage from Cromartie. He did not have a good game. We probably would have had a better chance of winning if he'd gotten kicked out and we stopped forcing so many passes into him. Of course it'd be easier for him if we had a quality QB, but I do not want his crazy anywhere near a rookie QB we bring in.

You can't just take away big plays from the stat line. If you did that marshall would only have caught 5 balls out of 12 thrown to for 53 yards. take away that big play and our passing game got us 160 yards. take away that big play and we wiffed 0/6 attempts deep with one of the attempts being picked off. We rushed as a team for 118 on 25 attempts (4.7 avg). I'm not saying we need to do more rushing because the last few years of sporano ball have been terrible, but matt moore should not have been slinging the ball everywhere his first start. 34 attempts, 2 picks, 1/7 deep...

Simply consider how many times this season in the redzone, often 2nd and 3rd and short where we tried to pass for the touchdown. How many passing touchdowns do we have for ALL of the "attempts" to pass in the redzone?

Almost none would be the answer.

So, crazy idea, let's try to run the freaking ball.

Or throw to wide open receivers.

According to the website Pro Football Focus, Matt Moore threw at Revis a whopping 14 times Monday night, completing just five passes (all to Brandon Marshall) for 63 yards, with a long of 20 yards.

"I don't think we're going to back away from either one of those guys," Sparano said of Revis and fellow cornerback Antonio Cromartie.

Although Revis allowed more receptions and yards than in any previous game this season, he clearly won the battle. Revis had two interceptions - one of which he returned 100 yards for a touchdown - along with three tackles and four passes defended.

The 14 passes thrown against him equaled the number Revis faced in his previous five games combined.

Eleven of those passes were aimed at Marshall, who added a 46-yard catch against Cromartie. Overall, Marshall caught 6 of 13 passes Moore threw his way, for 109 yards.

GREAT IDEA, THE JETS ARE WEAK AGAINST THE RUN, SO LET'S PASS AGAINST THEM.......A LOT.

Revis out scored the dolphins, enough said.

I wish we had a dislike button in here...to blame Marshall is just stupid
