I just spoke with a guy in the league office in the department that oversees officials in NFL games. I told him in all my life I've never seen such a flagrant example of cheating by the refs in an NFL game. I made it clear that it's not sour grapes because my favorite team won the game. His name was Al and he said that if I keep using the word cheating the conversation is over. I said I was sorry and pointed out a few instances that I thought were extreme. The PI calls against our team was crazy especially in light of the PI on Parker in the end zone when the game was on the line. That was especially flagrant in light of the fact that many calls went against us that were minor by comparison. He asked me to give him more examples. I said that I would go over the tape and get back to him with a list of calls that were really unfair. I've been watching Football all my life and there is no doubt in my mind that something sleazy was going on. The fix was in, it backfired because we pick off Rivers 4 times!! We played great and I'm about as happy with the team as I've been in years but this garbage could ruin Football. If the Dolphins lost I would have been at the league office in person, we'll maybe not, but I would have been beyond pissed! Anyway, I'm going to follow up with this guy Al. The # at the league office is 212-450-1000. Maybe if Al gets 1000 calls today they'll stop trying to screw our Dolphins. I'm not a conspiracy guy at all but don't tell me there wasn't something wrong with the officiating yesterday. The good news, we played great, we have a winning record and life in Dolphin land couldn't be sweeter!

Man I love the dolphins but.... I have a little more important things in my life to do than to call head office about the refs

I'm glad someone did something, hard to imagine much will get done from just a fan saying much.

Although in hindsight, while it was one sided on the flags, a lot of the ones on McCain and Maxwell were actually holding i think. Couldn't even breathe on their guys though and then parker is mauled into the endzone. Tannehill was laughing after that... he knew what a load of **** it was

Someone should dissect the whole game tape for flags called / not called

:iwantmore:

good on you.

I don't know if it will change anything cuz I think the problem is a lot higher up then we want to admit.

but couldn't hurt I guess.

I'm sure we all do. I wasn't really asking anybody to call. I just didn't like what was going on. If we were getting the calls I wouldn't like it. Call the game fair and mostly just let them play.

well, don't forget the missed BLATANT taunting call on Rivers

Good for you bro!

Word of advice, try not to come off too accusatory. Keep your correspondence with them as objective as possible, and point out places where calls were not made that should have been made. (holding against Cam Wake, or Parker's no-call.)

They get alot of these calls, I'd be surprised if you ever hear anything back from them other than "Thank you for your concern....blah blah blah..." But you never know:)

The lack of intentional grounding on Rivers was absolutely astounding. The ball didn't come close to making it to the line of scrimmage and there wasn't a Charger within sight...

well Apparently Gates was near everyone of those throws......even when he was on the sidelines

This kind of thing has to be done. I'm glad someone had the time to call, and did. More people need to, just to begin to bring attention to it. But, this isn't just our team.
I have friends who are fans of other teams and they all say the exact same thing.
And why do they "let them play" when the playoffs come, but flag the players to death in the regular season? If it's PI in october, it's PI in January.
And with the commercials, watching these NFL games live now is unbearable. I program the Dolphins to record then come in an hour late, skip the commercials. It's the only way I can stand it- the flow of the the game, as a spectator, is so broken up that I feel I'm not into the game if I watch it live. I tried to watch Minn/Wash yesterday after my son's game, but had to check out. Couldn't take it.

Tell them to start calling these ****ers for holding Wake! DVP was held and pulled in the end zone, plain as day with the game on the line. Rivers was taunting McCain in front of officials and the camera. He also had 2 (?) intentional grounding's not called. A lot of BS and we STILL won. Bastards.

The Patriots got away with ALOT of holding last night as usual.

Ask why their o-line never gets flagged for holding, lol.

quite surprised that they took your call

Rivers is definitely an ass. He was staring at McCain and basically gloating for close to 30 seconds I'm sure. That's taunting
