1 This team is in a rebuilding stage and has already doubled its wins from last year.

2 The offense is not there yet however today when we needed a score at the end of the game they got it. Folks that is the bottom line.

3 Our defense is young and still learning, yes our secondary is weak thats a given, but they play hard and with heart, give them a freakin break.

4 Our coaching staff is learning also. They have to develope trust in their players, they are learning what players can do what on certain situations (on game day). Our coaching staff will also do better.

5 Pennington is what he is, one of the best managing QB's in the game. He takes what is there, he doesn't make mistakes, he plays within the team. Give the guy his credit and stop bashing the guy because he doesn't make the highlight films. For example this is what I have heard already, Cobbs had to wait for the throw, guys he made the safe catchable throw which Cobb caught and ran in. He made excellent decisions with the ball today. He scrambles and threw a 30 yarder to Brown for a big play (that is a beautiful play). The one interception was on a bobbled ball. Come on guys his freakin passer rating was 122.8.

6 Ronnie is gonna get stopped he is not super human. He is one of the best backs in the league.

I especially agree with 3 and 5. This D was suppose to be our weak point. They have stepped up all around. Goodman can't help that he is the best we've got. Thats not his fault. He gives us a great effort out there and even made a few good plays. The lack of talent is definitly their, but the lack of heart isn't. As for number 5, this guy does so many things well. He is a great game manager. He won't win the game for you. He will make the throws he suppose to, avoid the costly mistake and avoid the pass rush (except for when the pocket collapses and traps him inside) but if only 1 man gets beat he usually keeps the play alive. That is enough to keep us from losing most games.

I've been around here for a while and this is pretty much status quo for Dolfans. Fair-weathered, passionate, crazy.....whatever you want to call it go ahead, but our fans seem live and die with this team. I just wish some people wouldn't be so "the sky is falling" after one loss, but hey...I'm staying positive. I still believe this team can sneak a wild card berth. The players just have to eliminate the bone-headed plays and fight harder on both sides of the ball! I'll tell you this much.....the atmosphere around here is much better now than it was last season! I could hardly stand it...which is why I was hardly around!

Pushing for a playoff spot after only 5 games? C'mon man let's get real. This team is right where it is suppose to be after a 1-15 season. We will lose a lot of games like this one this year, Let's think of this season as one big preseason, our front office and coaches are still evaluating what they have. This team will look very different next year, so don't go out and buy any jerseys yet...

But thoes people who get all upset at a rebuilding team that all of a sudden has shown signs of life but then loses to a underratede Texans team who should be 1-3 or 2-2 before we went in. The reason why everyone is on him is because he's doing next to nothing. He needs to be at least on kick returns. When he starts playing more consistently, then he'll get his respect.
