I Can Now Say The Dolphins Do Not Have A QB.

anyone catch the halftime show? cowher is talking about how inaccurate geno is and marino chimes in to say "what about tannehill" and cowher says "oh, he's bad too" haha, I don't know just something about the way he said it made me crack up, refreshing to see some honesty from the media

Everyone on the set laughed HARD. They all know Tannehill blows. Dan was just going to point out how many plays and points Tannehill leaves out there on the field but was interrupted by Cowher's comment.

Ive been saying it all year. Our D is very good. With good QB play, this team is a SB contender. 8-3 at a minimum with good QB play. Tannehill left so many points out there each week its ridiculous. I dont expect the QB to play perfectly and hit EVERY opportunity, but Tannehill misses almost all of them. A lot of them the so called "gurus" dont even see because Tannehill didnt bother to throw the ball and took a sack instead.

Several games we wound up losing where the opportunity to take a big lead was there and we didnt..... because of Tannehill. Keep blaming Sherman though. The reason we never score 30..... our QB is not good. A good QB and this team is legit as hell. Its really all we are missing. Lets pretend its all because the OL is horrible though. Reality is they are average and we do need a few new players on the OL, but our biggest need is good QB play. We simply wont get it from Tannehill.

That would mean your boy Jeff Ireland whiffed again at QB.

At this point we have enough film to see disturbing trends. He is good in the short game and flashes at times in the intermediate game but his deep throws are very concerning as well as his inability to anticipate guys coming open or leading a wideout. This is a huge time for Tannehill in terms of cementing himself as a starting qb. These last games will tell a lot.

If this game is 6-0 going into the 4th it's time to move on at QB. Why can't people see this looks like the chad Henne days all over again, dominate game tiny lead. It's been the same since 09.

You can say it NOW? Its been obvious for weeks. Ive been trying to tell you.

Dude, everybody knows it takes 5 years for a QB to develop. 8 if they were a WR at some point in their college career.

And about 20 of those were his own damn fault. Our sack numbers would be right around the league average with good QB play.

exactly, even when he tries to move around the pocket half the time he ends up moving right into the rush! He did it earlier, shift back and to the left and he creates plenty of time, instead he shifts forward and right into the oncoming rusher...no pocket presence whatsoever

I would be all for calling for Tanny's head, IF this was a normal situation. The dude was a WR for half his college career. I felt he was the most raw QB prospect coming out of college and we'd need 3 full seasons to see what we actually have. My opinion hasn't changed.

Being raw has nothing to do with seeing a wide open receiver and underthrowing him by 5 yards.
