Considering how good the Jets' run defense is, it was a good performance.
Yup.....100% correct

And i agree with all that. But when you have no Fullback on your roster, you don't have a true Blocking TE and your Guards can't pull, guess what. you won't be able to run the football. We have to focus on the running game this offseason if you really want to see what this team and Tanny can do. Our defense has fallen in stats as our running game has gone away. Hindsight should have kept Bush. At this point you break the bank on Grimes, Paul, Starks and then take the remainder of your resources and put it into making a good running game next year. You cannot punch it in from the 1 that's not QB play that us lack of a running game. You want more points you do not miss field goals. Our defense has picked it up the past 2 games and you keep it intact this offseason as much as possible and then go hunting for the run. A good running game makes a defense look a lot better along with the QB.
Never said he played poorly. In fact I think this was his best game since September. But that's part of the problem, we had to wait two months for a game like this against a garbage Jets team. Will he keep it up, I have my doubts as do most analysts and scouts.
Dude, everybody knows it takes 5 years for a QB to develop. 8 if they were a WR at some point in their college career.

I have always said Ryan Tannehill is a below average QB. But he has gotten from bad to worse. He is becoming very irritating to watch. Rich Gannon sounds irritated by him too. I am confident that when the new HC comes in we will have a new QB as well.

Folks, I hope to God that I am wrong about him.But he just blows way too many scoring opportunities. Much like Jay Fiedler did. And let us all be honest, he is not very accurate. The one improvement that I see is that he is throwing the ball away when the receivers are covered.
Every quarterback takes 5 years to develop? LOL. Tell that to all the young QB's who are lighting it up in this league. According to your logic, Kaep, Wilson and Luck shouldn't be good for another 3-4 years from now. Also, the ones from a few years ago, Flacco and Ryan, were great in their rookie years, and went to the playoffs or better.
Tannehill is on pace to be the first Dolphins QB to throw for 4,000 yards since you-know-who.

Well Kaep and Luck have had plenty of ****ty moments this year..
so its OK for Brady to go a full half without a TD? because it happened....Absolutely agree. There's always room for growth. But the really good ones don't start from the basement up, they're at a certain level already, and start to excel. Kaepernick went to a championship his rookie year, and Luck was a Pro Bowl player in his first year. This is Tannehill's second year. I don't expect us to go to the Superbowl, and in fact I wasn't even expecting the playoffs. I just wanted to see him show us he's a franchise player. I'm still waiting to see that.
I did like a lot of what Tannehill did in the game today. He made some great throws. But it was inexcusable to go a full half without a TD, when we had the ball most of the time. He has potential. But really soon, we'd better stop talking about potential.
