With the releases of Seth,Cater,James,Bowen(fa),Morris(fa),Anderson,and etc. etc.

THE YOUTH MOVEMENT HAS BEGUN!

If these players are pick -up and sign to big money contract,
The Fin will receive draft picks. Which seem to be Randy Muller plan.

Porter and top OL seem to be out of the question.Next off season
I expected to see ever more big name free agent leaving the Fin as the F.o will
build this team though the draft.
 
who caes anymore, another losing record, maybe that means they want Brohm with the first pick? HA who cares for that too. i spent teh last 4 months tryign to figure this team out and i got no where.
 
It's a limited rebuild so far. That became official with the release of Carter.

Now if the Dolphins trade or release any two of these players, it's an all out rebuild:
Culpepper,Chambers,Booker,Wilkinson,McMichael

If this happens I will be dancing out of my house onto the street and shouting and jumping for joy, because if we do this the next several years will be better than the early seventies.

The Dolphins won't receive compensation for players they RELEASE.
 
Then it makes zero sense to keep JASON TAYLOR & ZACH THOMAS
and why re-sign VONNIE HOLLIDAY??

PLease let them out of this torture chamber, so they can have a chance to win for once....

It reminds me of Kevin Garnett with the Timberwolves

Because they're not going to want to leave. It's the kind of guys they are. They're not going to give up and jump ship, if they're going to win it's going to be here and it's going to be because of them.
 
We released a bunch of backups and everyone is panicking. This is not a rebuilding project, this is restructuring to get a few more wins in 07. We let go:
  • A guard in James, who might not play again becuase of bad knees.
  • A backup who knows was what in McKinney.
  • Sammy Morris, 3rd String. RB
  • Carter, and 82 year old part time d-lineman.
  • A backup guard born for the IR in Anderson
  • Then Bowens, who is a backup to JT that we do want back.
This is part of the process. Plus we have some depth/youth at those postions to give new talent a chance.

Let who out of what torcher chamber exactly? If my memory serves me correctly, and 99% of the time it does, Taylor, and thomas restructured their contracts, hence, they WANT to be here. Holiday was a free agent and resigned, hence again, he wanted to be here...So exactly where does, please let them out, come into context? :rolleyes:

wow...I love your attitude...you spent the last 4 months??? aww poor thing. A fan of the Phins myself..I've spent the last 23 years waiting for the Phins to get back to the SuperBowl. Quit complaining.

MIA just re-signed the 31 year old Vonnie Holiday, have contacted the 30 year old Joey Porter's agent, have adamently stated that they are not getting rid of Jason Taylor(34) and Zach Thomas(33)...and last year traded a 2nd round pick for a now 30 year old QB in Daunte Culpepper...

Sorry bud, we aint rebuilding. We just cut loose of dead weight and cleared up cap space.

In case you didnt pay attention...we are rebuilding the OL is what it is.

James, Mckinney, DMac, Fonoti, Jacox, and Anderson were all OLinemen.

So we are rebuilding the OL, yes. But rebuilding as a team? Heck no. :rolleyes2

OMG BRO! did i say a 4 month fan/ i meant 4 months everyday trying to disect the damn roster and staff to figure out our offseason, ive been a fan for 11 years. PEOPLE NEED TO LEARN TO READ. i really really need to get VIP most nanoying 3 days of my life on this board. its as if ppl neglect to see things in between, so not surprising.
