I cannot fathom how a head coach and/or football personnel executive...

I respect this FO more for not blow up our cap just to save there job.....they wanted Orton but would not pay him the kings ransom he wanted....considering we would be his 3rd team I would be leary of giving him a big contract with up front money....i would rather they spend money on the rest of the team and get the right fit down the road even if it cost them there job......I dont blame them for not taking Mallett early, this is a kid with drug issues who showed up late for his team visits right before the draft with reports of him hanging out in bars the night before he is too visit, not to smart no matter how much talent you have....cant take a chance on a kid with a high pick......

I use it as a comparison.... If you like where we are... and where we've been... you embrace losing.... and that would be a "you" thing.... you get that!

And it's not Sparano's fault that every combination of OL would suck b/c Incognito and Columbo and Willis and all the rest are sub par.

Our OL looks awful any way you line them up. We needed AT LEAST two top G/Cs in FA and we got a bunch of scrubs and used our 15th overall for C instead of a star offensive player like Ingram - or hell, even just taking Mallett there would've made more sense.

Sorry - I know would've/could've/should've drafted is pointless but it just seemed so OBVIOUS!!! Every single goddamn mock draft I saw leading up to draft day had us taking Mallett or Ingram at 15. And to think we could've had them BOTH!

They are joined at the hip.... after TS's time is up here... sooner rather than later... his OL guru pins will no longer have relevance.... he's made more money thyan he ever dreamed.... he'll probably pull a JJ and ride off into the sunset....

No question.... problem for most on here.... they never set foot in the OB when the Dolphins crushed teams.... they only recall the "entertaining" years of Danny.... they settle for less.... they know little....

They're both probably gone after this year but we probably should've made the move before this offseason.
 
As hard as it is to do, the coaching situation bothers me more than the QB situation. If they ever invent a way to snuff a guy through the TV, Sparano will be my first target. Him waving the guys off the field after a field goal or extra point bothers me so much that I almost think our guys purposely don't score so they don't have to suffer through it as well.
 
I agree, however, Matt Moore did show me a little something last night.

Lets see how his consistency is over the next few weeks.

You're asking Tony to do something that he doesn't believe in. Which is throwing guys under the bus in front of the media. Sparano and Tomlin are completely different guys. Niot many coaches get away with that without losing the lockerroom.
 
Drew Brees went 1-4. I wonder if they going to run him out of N.O. after that

Here's the thing... Tomlin has been validated... he's got the ring... he's earned the respect..... TS has accomplished little.... or some would say... nothing.... where's he taking us.... same old same old
