I Can't Help But Be Excited About Our Team

Watching our team now and how these guys are playing, I have to say that this year seems soooo much different then last year. I used to dread checking on how our beloved Dolphins were doing and would find myself on quite a few occasions holding my breath when watching them play as I anticipated the next big mistake they made.

This year is a completely different story. I am finding myself scrambling to catch the replay of our preseason games (that's right, preseason games!). It's not even the regular season yet and I'm already pumped about our team. While I would love for the Fins to make it to the postseason, I'm realistic about our chances and don't anticipate us making it this year. However, I'm gonna enjoy this season no matter what - It's actually FUN watching this team now. I don't have a knot in my stomach anymore when watching! :up:

I look forward to rooting with all of you for our team as they enter the regular season! :hi5:

I think as Dolphin fans we are on the front part of a big upswing. I don't know if a Superbowl is in the near (10 years) future but at least we will have things to look forward to. It will be fun to watch games again and we will again have meaningful games that the Fins will be in.

how can u as a dolphin fan say that u dont know if there is a super bowl in the next 10 years. a rebuilding team can be superbown contenders in just 2 years with the right people calling the shots. just look at the 2006 saints, the 2004 panthers,the bears and a bunch of other teams. im hoping we will be superbowl contenders by 2011 and if where not than im gonna be dissapointed

just like what i been saying... so pumped.... i not expecting everything this season, i jsut want to sit back, and watch with my own eyeballs and say, theres an improvement there, here's some more improvements, find out what kids are working and playing hard. i pumped to see all this come together.... i am ready for some football

Same here guys. I hope our team simply gave us a small taste of what the season will be like and not come out looking like a totally different team than the one we saw in preseason.

I agree, I can't wait to play the jets, the improved O-line, the 3-4 defense and the way it's putting pressure on the QB, Ricky and Ronnie are both improved from the 2005 season, Pennington at QB.

What a difference from last year.

Next week is going to be the real deal.I cant wait.I just watched the highlights,Wow we look good. We are 3-1 leaving the preseason.
We will be a very competitive team this year.Defense looks sooo sick.
Our running game is there.Dolphins in 08 will be right there knocking.We might not make it but will kick some butt.Go beat the jests.

I am cautiously optimistic that we can be competitive this year, but guys we were watching preseason game, until I see this type of success in the regular season I can't get excited. With that said, I believe by the end of the year if we are playing a potential playoff team, they are not going to want to face us. Go Dolphins!!

I am so pumped up. The defense looks awesome. Big, young and tough. Ricky and Ronnie both look great, plus we have some good young RB's as well. Pennington is just the leader we needed and he looks cool and collected at all times. Henne is the future. Jake Long is a beast and will anchor the O line for years to come. Thanks to Parcells and Ireland we have a great decision making FO and Tony Sporano is the rough around the edges, hard nosed man we need in charge. Things are finally looking bright for us Miami fans.

Perfectly stated. There is excitement watching these kids this year. Even though I don't think we have more than 5-6 wins, it is easy to see that this team will fight to the end. GO PHINS!!!!:up:
