I cant stand preseason

All that can happen is bad, just cant take guys getting hurt before the season even starts for nothing, it is like every week closer the season gets i get more nervous
 
People are fragile. Guys get hurt on and off the feild all year long. QB's cut their hands chopping vegetables. Car and Motorcycle accidents. Sometimes players just up and die. It's life in this world. In NFL heaven there are no deaths or injuries of anykind but we're not there yet. Don't let this stuff ruin pre-season for you. Enjoy the games and all the drama of who's makin the team! Lighten up, we're lookin good. Have FAITH!
 
I'm with you on that. I love the preseason for the fact that I get to watch a little footbal again, but I hold my breath everytime someone gets hit. I just want the regular season to start. I wish they would chop the preseason in half and add two more regular season games. That would be sweet!!!

I say they cut it down to 2 preseason games with a couple of organized scrimmages in early August. As for the regular season, I think 16 games is perfect. The division alignment and schedule are perfect and I hope neither ever change.

The division alignment and schedule WAS perfect, when there were 5 teams in each division. I'm still pissed about them changing that.

Really? I was much younger then and while I was a fan, I am obsessed with the NFL now and I love the way it is. I just don't want to see any expansion teams because that will really shake up the alignment. The thing about the division now, can you imagine having the Colts in the East? Man that would be tough.
 
maybe just 3.......preseason games and all the formats the same order...i mean....schedule, games, bla bla

but yes injuries sucks :boohoo:
 
I LOVE PRESEASON!!! it gives the players a chance to get refreshed with the intensity of being in a game on tv. Injuries happen in preseason just as they would in regular season. 16 games is perfect or wen the super bowl comes round, the players will be dead. I think we should keep the preseason, and regular season format the way it is.
 
I like the canadian way, 2 pre-season games and 18 regular season games. What I dont really like is the Bye week, it was necessary when there were 31 teams but not anymore.
