After the embarassment last week I think these guys are going to come out and be NASTY tonight. We're going to run run run all night behind those big hogs!!! I can't wait!!!!!

Who will show up?

I think we'll run the same play where Pat White throws to a wide open Tedd Ginn, except this time he'll throw it within 5 yards of him instead of 10. Maybe by next week he'll have it perfected

I agree.. Im glad we're finally talking about what really matters. If the oline doesn't show up tonight/ this year... it doesn't matter who the QB is, or what skill guys wwe have.. if we can control ther line of scrimmage we have no chance.

If Long had trouble last week, I'm not looking forward to his chances with Freeney.

Hopefully the Jake Long from last year will show

I am definitely looking forward to seeing how the Oline does tonight. You KNOW that Jake Long is "ready to rumble" after his problems with John Abraham last week. He KNOWS the TV commentators are going to be talking about him ... putting the spotlight on him. He's probably going to be fighting like hell out there tonight. He's ready to kick some arse and get some redemption for last week. I'm sure he's been studying Dwight Freeney all week. Let's hope he's super focused and high energy for the whole game. Super quick. Super strong. Like heavyweight boxer Muhammed Ali was in his prime. :ko:

Let's hope the WHOLE Oline does the same thing. I want to see very few breaks in the wall in pass protection and some nice, fat holes for Ronnie and Ricky to run through. I want to see 150-200 yards of rushing tonight. That will probably lead to plenty of big plays in the passing game. A balanced attack that keeps the Colt's D-coordinator guessing.

Hopefully we get to see them for a larger amount of time, our time of possesion on Offense sucked.

The O-line has been putting in overtime in the film room which makes me think that not only are they worried about technique, they're also worried about missed assignments and timing which I think is the real problem. When I went back and watched the tape it looked like a bunch of guys blocking for different plays. Guys who were pulling ran into other lineman, instead of turning a guy to open up a whole our line was just hitting them. Hopefully this week will be different.

I think with TS being a former O line coach, he's going to get 'em in order.

I agree. I don't foresee us having the same problems with the offensive line that we had previously.

All that does is make him look even more foolish for not having them prepared last week! Its evident that Long is pretty good (not great) and Carey is solid...Grove, Smiley and Thomas are rotation guys (at best) that are pretending to be starters.

This is going to be a long season.
