Not hung up on anything if he is nickel player we could have drafted better and filled that spot. We have plenty of needs and throwing 5 million at nickel is not smart but oh well

THe reality is that if the Marshall incident is true....no way Miami gets good value for him. Teams don't generally give up high picks for headaches. Just cause we did when we traded for him doesn't mean teams do now. Let it go man! Dlockz can you try something for me? Make ONE positive comment about the fins in your next post on this thread. PLEASE!!!!!!
 
i also think marshall the week 1 starting free safety for us is possible...

imo Marshall WILL START oppsite of davis because he is a better CB can tackle better than smith and is as good of a cover coiner as smith.

All I can judge by is march 15. we are a few days into free agency and we have created more holes than we have filled thats pretty damn hard.
An oline that gave up 52 sacks gets a 2 million dollar scrub but we spend 5 million on secondary without cutting any salary there.
we now have one of the worst wr corps in the nfl we have two wr's worth a damn not to mention the qb we had a hard on for basically has a condo in miami and makes us visit him in indy now thats a joke. I feel bad for Philbin because it seems ownership is handicapping him right off the bat. Some people sing the same tune every year and we still get the same damn results.

you're hung up on the difference between Marshall being a #2 or a #3 CB when in reality there isn't much of a difference at all. if any. sure we could have drafted better. that isn't much of a secret.

i'm also telling you guys not to sleep on jimmy wilson...that kids got some things going for him at cb...looks to me like unless these kids blow chunks in camp we're moving on from will allen...

Sorry for being negative about a team that hasnt won a playoff fame in a decade, that has 4 losing seasons in 5. I mean I should be upbeat my bad.
Positive we signed Solai to a reasonable contract. back to Marshall though these marshmellow brains running the franchise should have known better than to give up two second round picks for this idiot in first place. He had a worse track record in denver than he had in miami and we gave up that much outbidding ourselves as we have liked to do this decade. i will be positive when we do something positive. never called Marshall a bad signing bit if he is not here to start its not a good signing.marshall is a solid player not the stud some make him out to be. he was absolutely abused as a corner in Carolina and one solid year does not make him some great player​

solid length and physical as hell...he'll hit you and you'll feel it...but needs to find the ball better on routes...solid tools...might become something in time...i'm hoping for him to show consistency in his play this year and to be a real contributor

natural blitzer, too. i guess consistency is the one thing i would love to see out of ALL of our DB's next season. it's getting to a point where it's simply frustrating to see our DB's playing up and down. Wilson is no exception, but he was a rookie last year. a rookie who missed two years of playing time in college on top of that.
