Through training camp all the reports i was reading from the herald to nfl.com is that most likely Beck was gonna be the starter Josh was gonna be the back up and Henne was gonna be #3. Now, Pennington got signed was named the starter right off the bat Henne slides up to back up and John moves to #3. How did this happen?

Pennington is the vet leader that our off needs right now. Henne is better than Beck apparently. That makes Beck 3rd.
David Spade is also better than Beck, apparantly.

Pennington is the experienced vet. Henne shows a ton of promise. beck has underwhelmed since he was drafted. Come on man, get over it.

That is awesome lol. the only problem I ever had with some Beck supporters were the condescending attitude to if you dont see why Beck will be the starter you are a hater.

Its not that hard to understand, its the same way any number 2 player suddenly becomes a starter or a number three player becomes a backup, by proving that they are better than the players above them. Pennington proved he was better then everyone, Henne proved he was better than McClown, and Beck......Its called progression that simple
Remember, the latest camp reports had Henne ahead of Beck and coming up on McCown. Had we not signed Chad, its my guess that we would have started McCown with Henne as the backup and Beck at #3. Toward the middle to the end of camp, Beck really started stinking it up and Henne flew past him. Signing Chad and releasing McCown really had no effect on the Henne and Beck as the 2 and 3 respectively

I too once though beck would be our all star qb but boy wasy I ever wrong. It also doesnt help any qb that our wr corp suxs . With the great Randy Mcmichael now residing in the great city of ST. Louis and preparing to have his mug placed on Mount Rushmore and the ledgondary Chris Chambers out in San Diego surfing the California waves nobody can play qb here unless we can get Fasino the ball more often.
