Every time someone mentions Weeden, everybody says he's too old. Yet almost everybody wants Manning on his last legs, or maybe leg.
I don't remember Joe Montana winning a Superbowl with the Chiefs. We're not getting Manning.... get over it and like it because it probably would'nt mean nothing if we did anyway.

If you just compared a second tier draft pick to two of the best QBs in NFL history? Yeah you don't get it!

Doesn't matter if Joe Montana didn't win a championship with the Chiefs - he made them relevant. Pretty sure being in the playoffs is better than being home. And in Joe's case, he was in the AFC Championships.

And what do you two brainiacs have to say, other than criticize other peoples posts?I'm saying Montana did nothing for KC in his last two years there.... just like Manning is going to do for whoever he staggers onto the field for.... you geniuses have an answer for that? or will it just be another wise ass remark to add to your post count.

By age 29 Manning just won his Superbowl MVP, multiple All-Pro's, and Probowls. By age 29 Montana had 3 Superbowl Rings, 2 Superbowl MVPs, multiple All-Pro, and Probowls. But yeah Weeden fits that pair! Better then Brady too!

I don't remember us winning a Superbowl with Marino. I guess we should just stay away from legendary QB's.

and the Chiefs weren't 6-10 when Montana got there, they were pretty good already

why don't we just bring him back then, or Montana or Steve Young

Never said he was better, or ever going to be better for that matter.just saying that youu are all getting your hopes up for what is probably nothing

Because Weeden would be a rookie at 29 years old. Heck he is older than Matt Moore and Matt Flynn. If you got Manning, you can draft a QB a lot younger than 29 years old and have that guy here a lot longer than Weeden would be. Even if they don't get Manning, I would rather see them draft a QB that is 21 or 22 years old. That way if the guy pans out, you have him on your team a lot longer and get more years out of him.

Look, I never said I "wanted" Weeden, I was using him for an age example.I would rather a young QB to build around too. I'm not arguing for Weeden, I'm arguing against Manning and his circus sideshow

Manning isn't the side show the media is, it happens when you are a good qb.

If the Dolphins do get Manning, then no, Weeden is not the pick.

But w/o PM or Flynn, I think Weeden is a good pick late first or second.

He's not a kid...AND THAT CAN BE A VERY GOOD THING. Talk about someone coming in knowing they don't have a lot of time to sit and learn, Weeden will work day and night to try to start asap.

He's got a good head on his shoulders and I think the talent and size to succeed.

1. Manning
2. Tannehill
3. Flynn
4. Weeden
