I don't think he will be playing one suitor against another. He will probably take an incentive laden deal anyway. At his point he wants to prove The colts brass wrong and win a superbowl not get a huge contract.

If what everybody who really know what Manning is all about then he'll want to get a deal done asap so he can get familiar with they system and coaches.

While he's had some huge pay days he's never been one to complain about money.

It will be about the well filled bikini's on south beach. Peyton likes to his toes to curl..as do we all.

so many PM threads not sure where to post this...

NFL | Agency could affect where Peyton Manning signs
Wed, 07 Mar 2012 11:49:18 -0800

The agency that represents free-agent QB Peyton Manning (Colts), CAA, could ultimately influence where Manning signs. CAA will naturally be inclined to steer Manning away from teams where another CAA client currently serves as the starting quarterback. As a result, the San Francisco 49ers (QB Alex Smith), Denver Broncos (QB Tim Tebow), Buffalo Bills (QB Ryan Fitzpatrick), Jacksonville Jaguars (QB Blaine Gabbert), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (QB Josh Freeman), Dallas Cowboys (QB Tony Romo) and Minnesota Vikings (QB Christian Ponder) are not likely destinations for Manning.

Jets | Have mixed feelings on Peyton Manning
Wed, 07 Mar 2012 11:29:19 -0800

There are reportedly mixed feelings from within the New York Jets organization regarding the possibility of signing free-agent QB Peyton Manning (Colts). One unnamed Jets player said he wants Manning "in New York. He needs to be a Jet." Others in the organization were tempering their interest with concern about Manning's four neck surgeries, his willingness to play in the same town as his brother, New York Giants QB Eli Manning, and the team's own soap-opera season in 2011. "Why would Peyton Manning want to come to the circus?" said a team source.

How do you complain about money when you've always been the highest paid player in the league every time your contract gets redone?
