Is getting all the props he deserves. We're fixated right now on all the newcomers in Minkah, Quinn, Wilson, and getting Tanne back. And rightfully so. But as bad as our LB play has been over the years the Kiko Alonso Ive seen the first two weeks isn't just the "Kiko back to his good days" I see (although its only a 2 game sample) him playing better than I've ever seen. He's ball hawking right now and all over the field. Eeverytime someone gets tackled he's either the one tackling or right there flying to the huddle always around the ball which is a really REALLY good sign. So just... PROPS TO KIKO! For all the bashing he's taken he's on top of his game right now and I hope he keeps it up :hclap:
 
I remember talking to a Buffalo fan his rookie season, said the kid was dumb as a box of rocks but is an awesome football player. I think he was pretty dead on with that assessment, long live Kiko!
 
I was at the home opener and Kiko was all over the field full of high energy and fit in well with the new guys from my perspective. For whatever reason he playing the best I've seen him play in a fins uniform and I hope it continues.
 
Agreed. Kiko has been playing better than we have ever seen him play.

Look at his stats so far:
19 tackles, 1 interception, 1 Pass defense, 2 forced fumbles
 
I thought was ok year 1 but shouldn't have been extended. I thought he was god awful last year. But he looked better in week 1 and played very well against the Jets

I still have concerns but I'd love to see him build on this and to be wrong about getting rid of him

He's not dumb - I think that he actually has very high football intelligence eg the way he baited Darnold into thinking he was moving in one direction and then took off and plastered him in a tackle. Kiko like Raekwon, has the ability to interpret what the Offense is going to do. It is great to see him off to a good start to the season.


............................Yes, the silence from all of the Kiko haters on FH is deafening.
 
Actually I've seen plenty of people giving him props so far this year. He's done well so far. Let's hope it continues.

I was one of his biggest critics this offseason. Thus far, I was totally wrong.
 
Kiko is awesome. All I ever see is him around the ball making plays. He gets a bad rap for not being able to cover speed backs out of the backfield but he's a linebacker! How many linebackers can stay with Drake?

Kiko ran 52 yards to make this tackle... He's healthy and rolling so far.

Last year KA had a bad habit of over-running plays. Haven't seen it this year
