Man, you guys love Jay Fiedlers/Lucases/Ferrotes/Rosenfels over top PRO QUARTERBACKS. This is not only an upgrade but this will lure good free agents over our team. We suck guys, we need to get better so we can compete in the league. At least thank SABAN for having baIIs to make a trade like this. So far everything that he has done has made us a better team and I trust him this time. He must have had talks with linenhan before even attempting a trade. :shakeno: First of all who was happy with any of those QB's mentioned? Second what kind of so called fan sits there and says "We suck guys".. How do we suck? We have one of the up and coming teams even before Daunte..
Third I am very very happy we got Daunte and I believe 95% are happier today than they were with G. Ferrote..
Maybe they wanted Brees but oh well he was all about the money, have fun in N.O.:dolphins:

culpeper wasn't my personal #1 choice, but him for a 2nd rounder is pretty damn good value. i hope he can return to his pro bowl form and take us to the next level, and it absolutely kicks arse that we finally have a good qb.

i really wanted brees because he has proven he can play around diversity with different WRs, but i would rather have culpepper than anyone you mentioned. im not saying i hate him or love him, he will have to prove he can play with a different team before i make my choice

Daunte is an upgrade none the less, BUT and this is a big but! Will he play with intensity or will he crumble under the pressure of the ever critical Fin's Fans. Will he Behave or will he go out and party on Biscayne Bay and South Beach with the females. Will that knee hinder him from scrambling the way he use to? These are all important questions that cant be answered and only time will tell. Brees had a bum shoulder so only time would tell if he could throw the way he use to as well so it was a lose/lose situation if you will. They are both good competitors i wont say all-pro's yet because niether have been able to prove themselves. Both in there time of shine have been Halo'ed by an all-star ( Ladanian Thomlinson, Randy Moss ) So we will now see if Brees (God Bless This Man For His Courage) can make things happen, and We Will see if Daunte can play mistake-free football (NO INT'S we had enough of those in critical moments with fiedler and ferotte oh and feely Lucas was ok.......

Um without a QB i dont blame him. Daunte has an arm for the long ball buddy with accuracy. Collins just heaves it 40 yards and hopes for the best there was a difference. Randy Moss has been proven since college. Hence why Kerry Collins is gone.

Ive heard a lot of people talk about the pressure of playing in Miami. Yes this is a town that goes crazy when things go bad with the phins but c'mon people this is not New York and Culpepper is not A-Rod. What I mean by this is that the pressure and expectations are high yes, but no where near a city like the big apple. Ive lived here my whole life and can say with out a doubt Dolphin fans (myself included) are the most cynical fans of any pro sports team. We get our hopes up to a ridiculously high level every year while maintaing that sense of cynisism always expecting things to turn out bad. This town is so fairweather sometimes that it makes me sick. I hope and pray that Daunte and Saban can restore this towns faith in its team so I dont have to hear its citizens whine everyday about how bad things are....whew good to get that off my chest guys thanx.
