I dont understand the philosphy on offense

The game is close and we are winning at half time. Yet, we spend the entire second half out of the shotgun instead of mixing in the run as if we were down by 3 touchdowns half way thru the 3rd quarter. I know Mularky's playcalling sucks....but holy hell, its 100 times worse than I thought it could be. What was the finally talley on pass to run.....3-1? Terrible.

You're not gonna win too many games in the NFL throwing that much more than running. Its just frustrating because I felt like this game was winnable and managable if we just ran the ball some more.
 
Please, stop blaming Mularkey, we had great drives going when Randy McMichael literally, by himself gave the Gree Bay Packers ten points.

You cant establish a philosophy when your players cante execute simple plays. What do you do in that booth when you need to call a play knowing how inconsistent this offense is. Blame the players.

That's ridiculous that Ronnie has more reception yards than rushing yards. FIRE MULARKEY!!!!

You're probably the lone remaining Dolphin fan that believes in Mularky then.

Oh you can definitely blame Mularkey. When the run is going good he decides to pass for 2 yards. They're ahead in the 2nd half of this game and he's passing every play. The guy's an idiot.
 
It's pretty much a given that on anything 3rd & 2 or longer, we'll be passing. I don't get it.....
Why don't we have a ram it down their throat attitude? Or any attutude, for that matter..

Whoa, dont jump the gun my friend. Im in no way a Mularkey supporter, but Mularkey has nothing to do with a horrible Harrington throw, a mind bending Mcmichale drop(s) that leads to a score, and so on. Mularkey has called some awful plays, but there is a fine line between the booth and the field..these players cannot execute.

because outside of two plays they werre stuffing the all world
ronnie brown [no jet D this week].

the adjustments the pack coaches made at half time were
on the money and they had us figured out.

saban and company out coached once again!!

but ronnie was going nowhere and with the pack moving
at will in the second half, it was worthless to try.

what is it with you and ronnie? Did he pick on you in previous life or something? You're always looking for any reason to place fault on his shoulders.

Yeh, thats why I never respond to him because his posts are usually personal rather than factual.

Maybe if we didnt throw the ball 60+ times today and ran the ball more....there would have been less room for Harrington to make a bad throw or McMike bobble a pass that was intercepted.

And THATS why I blame Mularky....because thats all on playcalling.

Seriously..for all of the things that are going wrong it seems it all comes down to Ronnie in his opinion..
Nevermind the facts:

Defense can't seem to make a stop when it counts
WR's are very inconsistent.
Playcalling is incredibly predictable on offense
Penalties are ridiculous
Qb's have been sketchy more often than not...
