I don't understand why some members here say that those bad calls shouldn't matter so much because a good football team overcomes them and should win.
The PI was a 3rd a long so they would have to punt but instead it results in a TD (7points), then you get the holding on Patterson which was on a 3rd down that they did not convert but again should've been a punt but instead a TD (14 points so far). Then you have the bogus fumble and swat from Vernon. We would of have possession but again a fg and time off the clock (17 points). So that is 17 points, possession taken from us and time off the clock. If the play continued we would of won 17-10 without scoring anything in the 2nd half.
Now I understand we still have an opportunity to win and who knows what would of happened if the calls didn't get called. Maybe Tanne throws a pick 6 or fumbles and recovery for a Td but we also don't know if we would of scored as well. Now I know a team should still overcome plays but when you're up 17-3 and you get 17 points from the refs and playing away it will be tough for any team to win. You lose a lot of momentum.
My point is without those calls I know we would of won.We will never know now, it sucks that we lost but anyways Go Phins. We will beat the Bengals hahaha.
