I don't know about you guys, but I don't want Ty Law. I am not willing to tie up so much cap money to sign a question mark. He is getting old and the main point is that you can't be sure how he is going to play on the field. When it comes time for him to cover 1 on 1 and he has to make cuts, can his foot handle it. He's not gonna be the same. We can do some much better things with our money, like SAVE IT. If there's no one out there, SAVE IT. Work with what you've got. Work hard with Edwards and Howard, and if they sucj put the rook out there if he has a good camp. What do you guys think? Do you want Ty Law. And don't give me any dance around the question answers!

I agree with somethings you said, but Law is a star man.You need good coners to win in this leage. We dont have a really good one for this year.Sam is good.Howard is number 2.I will love to see Law in Miami.I dont like Howard. He got beat out by Will Poole. If you put them two on 1 WR.Law will play it better by himself.

If the price is right, get him. Us keyboard commandos have no clue as to how far along he is, or how well he can come in and play. None of us were at his physical.
I'll leave that one to the team docs. But the price still has to be right.

IMO, we won't get him. He'll ask for too much.

I want him.

I consider him to be one of the best CBs in the league - right up there with Pat and Champ.

he'll most likely ask for too much, but if the price is right im all for it.

If the price is right he'd be a great pickup. We would be back to having two top notch corners.

No LAW in Miami

I am from New England and i honestly would hate to see Ty Lay in a Miami Uniform. He is more fragile than a china doll and his age and production are both becoming a negative factor. Pass on this one guys.

Im with the say no to Ty bandwagon.
I don't think he is worth what he will ask and if his foot isn't 100%, we risk being put in the same spot we were before we spend the money.
Get a cheaper corner for depth.

:roflmao: u are right, He's not gonna be the same. his best years are long over.....

to me it looks like phin fans want law because he would be against the pats and they think he is the all pro he once was....

bottom line is hes not recovered fully from his injury and he will never be the top5 cb he was in new eng.....

I don't think anyone on this message board has the information needed to make an educated decision as to whether or not we should sign Ty Law.

Until we know exactly what Ty Law and his agents would accept as compensation (which is guided not by their outlandish demands, but rather by what the MARKET will pay for Ty Law's services), and until we know exactly what the status on his injuries and the prognosis for his playing future...we're just shootin in the dark.

That's why it gets my spurs up to see a bunch of people being like "just say no to Law" or "Why Ty Law should NOT be a dolphin" etc.

You guys are all just guessing that somehow Law would only sign in Miami for a huge money long term deal even if other teams were only offering him pittance, and you're just guessing that his foot injury is still bad. Nobody knows, including me.

I imagine the Jets would outbid us, and I'm fine with that. The Jets are closer to challenging the Patriots, and they might take the chance that Law will produce and be healthy. The risk is high, but the potential reward is also high.

I'd rather see us spend some time this year developing some younger players. Would Law even be with us in 2007? Why rent him for a year (and likely damage our cap in future years) when our chances of reaching the Super Bowl are so slim this year?
