We finally get a young QB with legit promise and look what we've given him in return.

Maybe the worst offensive line in NFL history.

No #1 WR to speak of.

No running game to speak of.

A mediocre tight end who drops way too many balls.

A defense that comes up short when it counts.

Mike Sherman as an offensive coordinator.

Given all that, he's still on pace for 3,600 yards and 25+ TD's. Damn good numbers for a 2nd year QB who we all were told was very raw and would need a couple of years.

It's a shame we might ruin this kid instead of maximizing his potential.

Hilarious that some people are blaming him for the loss though.

As if his play isn't the reason we were even in the game in the first place.

Tannehill left too much on the table tonight to feel sorry for. Missed an easy TD to Wallace early. Missed the opportunity to run it in for a score late and we kicked a FG instead. Takes two sacks on the final drive and throws a 1 yard pass on 3rd and 28.

I feel sorry for the fans that have to watch this team do the same thing year in and year out.

And I see a guy that cant read a defense. and Alot of his sacks that are blamed on his line are right on him. Like the sack in the 4th that is on him he should have seen that blitz coming and thrown hot.

You're putting those sacks on Tannehill?

I don't feel sorry for anyone on this team. They all played a part in an embarrassing loss to a bad team. Tannehill early on in the game was terrible and he looked like he didn't even care. The entire team looked like they didn't care.

That play when Pouncey punched that Bucs player and Tannehill is just watching him and not saying anything...damn. He has to step up grab his facemask and tell him to keep the thug crap in Hernandez's house and off he field.

Lol typical hill homer. Tanny sucks. Its amazing how many posters in here refuse to see that.

Tannehill unfortunately is going to end up being a great career backup. I think he will be in the nfl for a long time. Just needs more experience under a great coaching staff.

Longtime lurking Jets fan here. Not here to troll or rub anything in just want to add to the discussion. Idk about Tannehill...guy never ever gave me the impression that he'd ever be anything special. Even in college. Hell, I know some of you may not want to hear it but to me he was a bigger more athletic Mark Sanchez. Raw project QB with very very little experience. This thread actually reminds eerily reminds me of threads that popped up on our forums in 2011 regarding Sanchez and the team, but the alarming part is that there just doesn't seem to be much progression from him.

with a running game and good protection he looks nothing like mark sanchez. without a running game and good protection every QB looks like mark sanchez.
