how the media can pull such a 180 on our team. They were much more praising last week and all of a sudden it's the end of the world again and we'll be lucky to win 3 games.

Lets be objective. The only game we gameplanned for was the Bucs game and even at that we couldn't gameplan extensively since we will be playing them later in the season. In that game we looked fairly good and I was generally happy. The QB's still needed work but at least there were recievers open and time to pass. Feeley looked bad and did not help himself at all. Frerotte really didn't get a chance and most of the first stringers didn't play much. It was very much an evaluation game. Unfortunately QB is our problem.

But for the local media to now claim we will be worse than 4 wins, is a little premature. Can't wait for next weekend.

You made some valid points but it doesnt matter if you gameplanned or not our 2 qb's looked terrible. Gus was over throwing everybody. He could not get a first down in a whole quarter of play!! Feeley was under trowing his receiver, he did connect for 6...with the other teams defender!!
The bad horrible play of our qb's was not because we didnt gameplanned!!

It's funny how this site works like a family member. All day people on this site will bash our qbs, our o-line, our corners, etc. but as soon as someone else does it.....they're idiots, they dont know what theyre talking about...etc.

The truth is we do look bad b/c of poor performances by both feeley and gus. Will we win more that 4 games? I think so. But you cant expect anyone in the media to say the same, the way our offense looked this preseason. Don't worry about the media...the season starts soon. Then we will know and see where our team really is.

Local media!!!! How about some of the fans????? Last week Feeley was our savior and now he is back to being a "sure cut." Someone needs to hide the proverbial panic button and start passing out the prozac. Or at least give us to the bye to post that the sky is falling and we are all going to perish!

Feeley was never MY saviour. I've always thought he should just be a Camp Body or an NFL Europe candidate. I've NEVER been high on him. I have now, though, for about 5 years been high on Sage. But bla, bla, bla....Long story short...He'll never get a chance.

The national media has rated us as a 5-11 team at best... Local media has been more optimistic. The reality is that perhaps 8-8 would be a miracle season. we just havent shown we're better than that.
