I found a trading partner for the Fins

they just suspended a RB for a YEAR due to a drug problem.

do you really think they want Ricky, whos next positive test for drugs results in a year suspention??

Hmmmm lets see trade a pothead for a crackhead. Intresting....................................... Seriously though I would love to have Randy Moss on the Phins, the problem is he was a cancer for the Vikings and thats what worries me. A 1st round pick is always good.:)

Let me understand this, you think Minny will trade for another HB that is 1 failed drug test away from a 1-year suspension?

I think a lot of you forget Wicky has no trade value any more.

disagree....believe it or not...ricky still does have trade value...no matter how messed up was/is...if he can help a team win...and make them better...someone will take a chance on him. you can't deny that the kid has mad skills.

go fins!!!

FORGET THE TRADE RICKY THREADS.
you dopes.

ricky has more value to the fins by being in a fins uni than anywhere else.
why can't you dopes realize that.

But think of the salary cap hit by keeping both guys.......

It doesn't make sense financially.

I see us keeping Ricky for 2005, then trading him after this year.

i HOPE thats sarcasm and that im just so bored here at work that i didnt see it. :hmmm:

I think if Miami is smart and they do bring ricky back, they would be better off keeping him this year because as of now he has very little value due to his on and off field problems. If ricky plays this year for Miami and can stay clean and once again proves he wants to play football again, I believe he will be worth much more on the trading market next year!!

they are now looking very smart for drafting fason.
O. Smith's airport incident happened on April 21st...the Draft was April 23rd. I think Minny knew exactly what they were doing drafting fason ;)

Which part?

Seriously though I would love to have Randy Moss on the Phins, (true enough)

the problem is he was a cancer for the Vikings and thats what worries me. (true also)

A 1st round pick is always good.:) (THIS PART. do you honestly think ANY team will give the fins a 1st rounder for Williams? an admited pot smoker who is 1 failed drug test away from a year suspention. not to mention a player who "quit on his team", and retired so he can smoke pot. and has said he doesnt want to play football. and is only comming back because he is being SUED by the team.)

No, thats true Cocaine was found in his car in the beginging of the season. that was on Sportscenter.

There are teams that would take him for a 1st rounder, even if they dont admit it for example: Carl Peterson said he wouldnt give up A 2nd round pick for Surtain, but they did. Now thats not a 1st round pick, but it proves my point that teams will give up anything if they are desperate enough.

Minnesota doesn't need a runningback. Fason was going to win the starting job eventually anyway.

You're a kid, and you want the Fins to be able to get some value out of Ricky..

But in no way, under any circumstances, will you get a first round pick for Ricky Williams. ever.

Nobody could get a first for Edge, Alexander, Corey Dillon, TO, and all those players aren't in danger of being suspended with one more failed drug test.

and on top of all that he has zero trade value now, nothing. No team would trade for him at this point, if he plays it will be for the fins this season. even if he does good he will be around 30 when next season starts. no team is gonna trade a 1st for a RB with the history of a ricky williams who is 30.

There are a select few teams I could see trading for Ricky. Maybe 6 total. And nobody will give up anytihng to get him......

1) NYJ--Lost Jordon. Blaylock is ok but could be a one hit wonder. Curtis Martin is up in years. Could trade for him cheap, let him be a back-up and take over for Martin down the road. If he bombs out, no big loss they would have given up little for him.

2) Tenn--For some reason they want a RB. Dont' know why, but they want one.

3) Jax--Also in the market for a RB. Fred Taylor can't stay healthy anyway.

3) Cleveland--Ricky is VERY close with Jim Brown. Browns have nothing on offense except the rookie Edwards. Would be a perfect fit.

4) Oakland--Nuff said.

5) SF--Let the rumors begin

6) Philly--They don't have a franchise RB. Ricky would make their 1998 draft fans happy.
I think we should wait to trade Ricky til next year and see how Ronnie does. I could see him most likely going to Cleveland.
