Sorry about not getting back to you fast. Dave was being sarcastic in a way. its like "oh the hurricane is NOT coming here" and the reporters start laughing. It was in his tone of voice and in his facial expression that made it funny. Its like nothing can worse can happen to this team. Lets say "the hurricane better not hit here". It is somewhat difficult to explain. Nevertheless he was just being sarcastic joking.

IT's funny as hell cause right now NOBODY knows which way this hurricane is headed for exactly...And it is heading in our general direction! It's hillarious how Dave's soo sure that this things not coming here. And the way he said it...with the expression in his face and tone of his voice, he made it seem like.."whatever!! THis thing is DEFINATELY not gonna affect us." Like if he's smarter than EVERYBODY else including the meterologists. All the media reporters kinda paused for a small second, and then all together started laughing at him cause it was incredibly rediculous how he can say that. Anybody can guess and speculate, but Dave is guaranteeing that we'll play on Sunday @ 1.

Hurricanes usually do hit were they are forecast to hit within the last 24 hours. It's when they try to anticipate the path after the 24 hours that the forecast gets innaccurate. Trust me when I say that I've live through many hurricanes.
