I get to meet Jim Kiick tomorrow

That's cool man, I went to it last year here in Miami and got to meet a lot of players....last weekend I went to the Orange Bowl farewell event where they had the flag football game between the Dolphins/Canes legends and I met Jim Kiick. He's was the most down to earth guy, I had a Dolphins helmet (with the older logo of course) that he signed and also put 17-0 on it and i also got it signed by AJ Duhe....I also got a picture with Jim....

Who's jim kiick? is he a coach?

Jim Kiick was a halfback for the Dolphins in the late 60's and early 70's. He was a VERY important part of the offense. He was also always considered one of the "Truley" good guys in the league

Perhaps you recognize the kid sitting on the ground?

HINT: He used to flat out run people over

My brother and his stepson was at the farewell also. He sent me alot of pictures, to bad I can't upload them. His stepson was the one that caught the bomb from Bernie Kosar.

At the NFL Experience.

Needless to say, I'm very psyched.
Very cool man. I got to meet Kiick back in 96'. Of course, I was only 11 years old at the time, but I still got his autograph. We just happened to be at Walt Disney World when the Boardwalk and the ESPN Club were just opening. Lots of athletes went, and I will always remember who the worst one was there. I didn't have any Dolphins gear on at the time, but I CLEALY remember Thurman Thomas blowing right by us and everybody else on the red carpet. Only athlete to do that during the opening celebration.

Don't know why I told you that, but the idea of meeting Jim Kiick brought up some old memories.
