Since last year we have added Alberts, James, Landry, Suh, Cameron, Stills, Parker, Jennings, Phillips, Ajayi....who am I forgetting? And at the same time have gotten rid if a bunch of over paid guys, some with bad attitudes that didn't help us win while lowering our cap. I know some people are not going to be happy no matter what but we've come a long way. We also got some depth in free agancy. Our run defense will be much better. Look at the weapons on offense.

QB Tannehill
RB- Miller-Ajayi
TE-Cameron
WR- Parker-Landry-Jennings-stills
I believe we're going to score some points and if you can't run on us it's easier to play the pass. I don't normally start threads like this but what's right is right. The FO has done a good job.

Ozzy rules!!

The HC is on a year to year contract. If he doesn't win now we need to get rid of him

Ozzy rules!!

The other biggie is we are getting scheme fit players which is fantastic. If we did get rid of Philbin I hope we can keep a lot of the other parts intact.

I can't judge Philbin as harshly his first few years here when his GM gave two ****s about scheme and drafted measurables...

The jury for me is still out on him but Hovkey and co. are miles ahead of Ireland and his co.

It's going to be a hard division to win. Dolphins, jets and bills have added talent. The distance is getting closer. I'm sure brady doesn't like all those big Dline additions in the division. I'm most excited about having playmakers at each skill position. Not just WR but at TE and RB. If the line holds we're going to score enough to win.

Actually, aside from Brady and Gronkowski, the Pats look to have the weakest roster in the division. That hasnt usually been the case. If Buffalo and NY get solid QB play and coaching, this division will be a meat grinder.

Hickey is a much better GM than Ireland.

T-bomb has a lot more in common with Ireland than he does with Hickey... :d-day:

Now if the team can just stay healthy....we know the injuries will come....will they have the depth?

I think if you look back to the day after previous drafts the sentiment is always the same......we are better than we were.....reality tells us different, we are the same 500 ball club we were before the draft....I will wait until I see the new pieces on the field before I say this FO is better than the previous FO.....

There will be some successes and some disappointments but I am far more comfortable with the front office than I have been in many years. There was a lot of negative publicity when Dennis Hickey came in, but it looks like Stephen Ross made a very good appointment. Mike Tannenbaum seems to have also been a good appointment and is aggressively working through the major Ireland screwups and appears to be working well with Hickey. Don't underestimate the significance of the Ndamukong Suh signing. Tannenbaum delivered big time.
The other interesting thing I have noted of late is that Assistant GM, Eric Stokes who also came from Tampa Bay, is getting some exposure in the press conferences and presents extremely well. Polished, well spoken and analytical - he looks very professional and is Hickey's right hand guy.
Jeff Ireland had the reputation of treating people with contempt and being very unpopular. He also seemed to make some decisions with a sudden rush of blood. Some came off but many didn't (cough Dion Jordan, Philip Wheeler, Dannell Ellerbe, ditching Vontae, not to mention a slew of 2nd round Draft picks not named Koa Misi, cough....). I get the impression that Hickey is more logical, a lot better liked and less consumed by his own ego (and this is a very good thing).
Still relatively early days but they appear to be working more as a team with less division in the front office. If Joe can lift the team performance a few notches, there is scope for optimism.

While i liked last years draft picks overall. The only real one I can see as a real player is our 1st pick this year . I think we may have screwed the pooch with the second pick we could have used that pick much better than on D Line.
