Hey Guys, this is my first post. My son (Dan2434) used to post here quite often. He was a die hard, bad to the bone Dolphin fan as I am. We lost Dan in a motorcycle accident Sept 29, 2006 and he dreamed of this call I got today. The call was from his life time best friend that he grew up with here in Naples, FL, Kirk Barton. Kirk, played his college career blocking for Ted Ginn at OSU and was a seventh round pick by Chicago this year. He was waived yesterday, picked up on waivers today, and is on his way to Miami to sign with the Dolphins! He will be in Miami tonite and is suppossed to practice tomorrow with the team. I really hope he makes it here and helps our team down the road or immediatly preferably. Don't flame me I dont have a link yet but I think it will hit the news tonite or tomorrow. Good luck Kirk! I am so excited!

Sorry for your loss, er.

Fantastic I loved the way he played college ball at Ohio State. Guess that is why Sean Ryan was released

Great opportunity for Kirk, I hope he blossoms. My condolensces for your son. Thanks for sharing the info.

Thanks alot for the inside scoop we really apreciate it. Your son will be always be a dolphan!

Sorry to hear about your son, but thanks for sharing the Kirk Barton info.

Sorry to hear about your loss....

Now who the heck is Kirk Barton? and Why was he released by the Bears if he is that good?

Thank you. That would explain the Sean Ryan waiver.

My heartfelt condolences for your son. Last year mine son suffered severe and lifetime injuries when the Harley Police Bike he rebuilt was carelessly hit flush on by a negligent teen driver. We were told by the rehab people that he came within an inch or 2 from death or paralysis. So very sorry for your loss; hopefully the essence of your son will live on in Finland through the successes of his lifetime best bud.
