Osi is getting a lot of #1 votes, that's weird IMO.
1. Pat Williams DT Minnesota- He' amazing, purely dominant and you don't run the ball on the Vikings.
2. Ed Reed S Baltimore- Couple his incredible explosion with outstanding closing speed, you have the best safety in football. He's a great return man too.
3. Champ Bailey CB Denver- Champ had a down year in '07, but he's still the best corner in football
4. Brian Urlacher LB Chicago- The best middle linebacker in football never misses a tackl and is responsible for the defensive calls in Chi-town.
5. Bob Sanders S Indianapolis- When healthy, he's incredible. Hopefully he can stay on the field.
6. DeMarcus Ware DE Dalls- The key to Dallas' 3-4 scheme, Ware's versatility is invaluable.
7. Nnamdi Asomugha CB Oakland- The NFL's second best corner is ready to hit a huge contract.
8. Osi Umenyiora DE NY Giants- The key to the Giants Super Bowl run, Umenyiora gets to the QB.
9. Brian Dawkins S Philadelphia- Had a down year and was oft-injured, but Dawkins might be clinically insane which strikes fear into the hearts of all receivers.
10. Kevin Williams DT Minnesota- This is why the Vikings are #1 in run defense every year. When a team has 2 DTs that are top 10 players, that team dominates the trenches.
