Because I said we wouldn't beat the Jets based on our performance prior to yesterdays game. I took alot crap from you guys. Hey, I want us to win as badly as any of you. The truth is we have to rebuild we are not a contender, we wont turn it around, and we need to set our eyes on the future. This means trading players who still have value, and build a younger team. The clock is ticking on our defensive stars. I'd hate to see some of them go, but I'd rather have them get their shot at a superbowl. They (Thomas and Taylor) certainly deserve it.

I agree and whoever blasted you, is not a realist.I would love to win out this season but that just isn't going to happen. I agree JT and ZT can help far greater in the future than they can right now. Imagine going into the draft with, an extra first and second. I think we can get a #1 for JT and possibly A #2 for Zach,we might as well do it now because they are not getting younger, we can give thier replacements 10 games starting in the NFL. May be Oakland will trade with us so we can have the #1 overall.

I'm starting to look at the future as well. This season will not be a superbowl season, so we might as well treat is as an extended preseason and start looking to next year. Play to win, but play to win looking at all of our options for young players and the next season.

I too didn't think we cold win, especially in Giant Stadium and three games on the road. Time is running out for our defense and I would hope we find a good linebacker in next years draft and stop picking up other teams cast-offs. We just have to bring in younger players and call it what ever you want, but rebuild now.

The Jets were blown out 41-0 two weeks ago. They have what could be the worst rush defense in the NFL.

Those are pretty good reasons to believe that we had a shot to win.

What's your point? I'm very well aware of the fact that the Dolphins lost yesterday. I'm merely pointing out two of the most obvious reasons why some fans thought we had a good chance to win.

You want us to WIN but yet you predict a loss. It's all well and fine to be realistic, but we had a good chance of winning that game. That is why I am upset. I don't like it when people who claim they are fans of a certain team, then predict they will lose. We have a good football team, but we are not executing. Once we start to do that we will win again. It could have started with the Jets but Mare messed that up for us. It could have been tied. But no, he misses. Sorry if I was a little harsh, but just a little upset with the loss yesterday. Come on man... Give up on Jason and Zach trade for the #1 overall pick (which would never happen) and pay an unproven player a ridiculous contract think again... This isnt madden.......Do you know what a huge cap hit we would take???
