Q&A with JT

Q: Can you talk about Nick Saban's passion?

A: "Nick is doing everything right. The man wants to win. He has a plan and he has the right plan and the right philosophy to get it done. The corner will be turned with Coach Saban. It's not even a question. It's just a matter of when that is. He's passionate and enthusiastic about the game and it shows. It rubs off on your team. Your team is going to take on your head coach's personality. I think it's starting to show."

I haven't heard that kind of enthusiasm for and devotion to a Dolphin coach since Shula.

Love the attitude!

However I'm not sure JT wouldn't have said the same thing about Wanny before he left.

I can remember hearing the same about JJ when he first took over....remember the old college like enthusiasm....the air was full of it....well something was full of it anyway...:rofl3:

That's actually one of the things I've been waiting to hear all year.

exactly...the guy has won at everywhere he's been...look what he did in lsu...not really a big time school before he came..and he made it into a powerhouse..imagine what he could do with pro talent.wow....

Nice to hear, but let's be real - winning games is the key to confidence and success. You can only think someone is putting the right things in place for so long if you don't start winning football games.
Remember guys, this statement is coming off our first win in weeks, and JT was AFC defensive player of the week...his personal confidence is peaking.

it's not what the vets think about Saban, it's what he instills in the young players that will make us a champion. our vets always show up, but every year we have fewer and fewer.

still, JT's voice is a big one in the locker room - if the rooks think he's bought saban's system then they will be more inclined to.

Yeah I read that. And right after that comment, he went on to say "You never really know when it is until it is already past. We will see if this past weekend was the week.†(referring to turning the corner).

Being successful at the college level I think has more to do with being a good recruiter. He's also playing against pro talent, while on the college level a team can rely on being more talented. I think Saban will be successful, but if he doesn't find a Qb he will not be.

Fishy, fishy, fishy. You won't even give Coach Saban some love during the holidays. No playoffs tickets for you when we get there...
