Just read the articles.

Miami acted like they lost after the game.

Gase is pissed.

So is Jones, Wake, Tannehill, and so on.

They know they lucked the **** out. Good on them for no high fives, attaboys, and such. They played for ****, know it, and are angry about it.

Let's face it, guys. While we won't be Super Bowl bound this season, we have the talent to be decent. And Miami knows it. And they freely admit that they played like **** today.

For some reason, I think we may just see a different team on Thursday.

I sure hope so.

After todays game, expecting a good showing by this team is a foolish hope

Maybe so. But after 40 years, much as I wish I could, I just can't quit on them.

They certainly deserve me to, the pricks. ****ers owe me a new liver.

But I won't.

None of us will.

They were supposedly pissed after losing each of the first two games and nothing changed today. So yeah i am not expecting anything different come Thursday.

Here is what Gase had to say:

"We come out here in our first game at home to showcase to our own fans what we're all about, and offensively we're out there flopping around," said Gase, who called the plays. "It irritated me a little bit. It still does."

And

Browns first-year coach Hue Jackson won the toss to start overtime and decided to kick off, a decision his counterpart understood.

"The way we were playing offensively, it was probably a good idea," Gase said.

The way I see it is, Cleveland went out there and brought the best game they had, despite the injuries, and played their tails off, and were well coached, and the referees inexcusably and inexplicably called an obvious fumble returned for a TD as an incomplete pass even though the quarterback's arm never went forward to even create the empty hand effect, and the ball flew straight backwards, and then on top of that they called a really questionable offsides on Cam Wake on another huge turnover, and you know what,

We still beat them.

Yeah we ain't great, but people freaking out about today's game like we're the worst team in the NFL didn't watch a lot of football today. There was some real bad football being played out there today and we definitely weren't the worst of it.

I still support Gase. I like his demeanor and liked the things he said after the game. Obviously we have a long ways to go but I think he will get us there.

I like Gase, I do, but I feel like he's stuck in this "offensive coordinator" mode where he keeps putting the blame on his unit, the offense, and that's okay, we had 3 turnovers today which put our team in a tough spot, but at some point I'm gonna need him to remember he's the Head Coach of this football team and that includes holding his defense accountable as well. Especially after two consecutive GARBAGE performances by the D.

Both units have played poorly but all I've ever heard from Gase is how disappointed he is in HIS unit. What about our defense, coach?

We aren't going to beat Cincy next Thursday.

I think he's afraid of Suh, Wake etc. Afraid to say anything bad about their unit.

Exactly the attitude they all should have. They should have played better on both sides of the ball. Gase knows and isn't sugarcoating it.

We had no reason to believe we were going to beat Cincy on Halloween night three years ago but we did on TNF. We're not playing the 92' Cowboys. And we've been in every game this year.

Not if I count 'points left on the field'. It was thouroughly pointed out after the Seattle game that we could have won the game if we counted all the imaginary points.
Now in reverse I have to ask: if our imagineray points against Seattle were an indication how great our offense played and how good that loss felt (some said it felt like a win) shouldn't the 9 points left on the field by Cleveland be an indication how bad we really are?

:idk:
