Sun-Sentinel has an article this morning that the Orange Bowl committee has extended its deal with Dolphins Stadium through 2014, with a four-year mutual extension option after that. The committee will also finalize within the next 60 days an extension of FedEx as title sponsor through 2010.

The rumor had been that “Dolphins Stadium†was a placeholder until FedEx’s Orange Bowl sponsorship expired and the team could sell the stadium naming rights to DHL, which has purchased large ads on the scoreboards.

I still wish someone could put up a lot of money for the naming rights and rename it Joe Robbie Stadium.

It's also worth mentioning that the Dolphins are getting new scoreboards, susposedly installed between now and baseball's start. The East scoreboard is going to be the biggest something something high quality video screen in the world apparently, and the West one is getting redone.

I still call it that.

They should have a halftime show where fans of the opposing team are fed to wolves.

they should call it "Dan Marino Field"

eh, I've always liked the the idea of Shula Field. Not even Dan is as important as Shula was in Dolphins history.
