We played great today. All facets of the offense did well. D shut down the mighty Steelers offense. I honestly expected a 52-3 crushing.

And we rose up and smote Pittsburgh righteous.

And guys here are bitching. Lucky day. We left points on the field. No TD passes from Tannehill. We can't even tank right.

Too bad. We won, decisively. So as far as the pissing and moaning goes......

Actually Tannehill should have at least two TD's on his stat sheet. Parker dropped one and later on a TD pass was called back for a dumb penalty that had nothing to do with the play.

Until you have a TEAM that finds a way to show up in meaningful games (which we may not have again this season) then getting all "pumped up" about ambush "surprise wins" is like making eye contact with a girl you know you'll have the balls to actually date. This game was a building block. You have to start somewhere. All that matters now is one game against Buffalo. Tannehill needs to have an impressive showing and the OL and Ajayi need to keep their momentum going. It's a crazy game the way things happen in the NFL.

If we can get Chris Gulliver going and Xavien Howard comes back that secondary could look a lot better a month from now.
