Ok, so here goes...
I'm lost on how some people come to terms with blaming Tannehill for this game, I'll explain why...
For starters, many of you said that Tannehill needed to show vast improvement from last week. That he didn't play up to par with where he needs to be, however, all that aside we still won the game.
This week, unless you are just in absolute disgust of Tannehill, cannot argue that he did in fact step up his level of play. We barely beat a Washington team last week on the road that just this week beat a St. Louis team coming off of a win against Seattle. Many said that his performance wasn't good enough against Washington.
So my question is exactly where I am leading, what is good enough?
359 YDS PASS - 17 YDS RUSH - 68% COMP - 8.9 YPA - 2 TDS / 0 INTS - 108 RATE
I mean seriously? What more can you want? He missed a couple of throws, what QB doesn't? Jacksonville is said to have a solid defense, and they do. 1st QB in 14 games to throw for over 300 yards... Tannehill continuously extended plays out and made things happen. Then you go and blame him because he couldn't go 40 yards in 40 seconds without any timeouts.
In all honesty, it is really becoming apparent how many of you are grasping at straws to try and justify your opinion of him being an absolute problem.
You say people keep dealing out excuses for him, and that is funny to me.
If you have a QB who can go on the road, deliver that type of game against a solid defense, and yet still find a way to blame him for the loss. Well, I'm just not sure if you have the rare ability to think rationally or use what we call common sense...
I mean, seriously. In everything that happened in this game I really didn't expect to see so many people laying blame at the wrong doorstep...
