Dolphins admit to phasing out DeVante Parker

Speaking Thursday, Dolphins OC Dowell Loggains admitted the team was phasing DeVante Parker out of the offense.

"It's combination of injuries, production, practice," Loggains said. Fact check: True. It still seems uniquely Dolphins that the team has been so incapable of coaxing consistency out of its former first-rounder. Going on 26, Parker will not lack for teams looking to give him a second chance after the Dolphins decline his 2019 team option.

I’m hesitant to get too excited about butler long term but I do like what I’ve seen out of him

Yeah his Mossing of the Colts DB was more impressive than any play Parker ever made for us. Guy needs to get more oppts. His rookie year he scored a nice TD vs SF that showed a nose for the EZ and powerful running. Get the guy on the field.

He won’t. He’s just not made like that. Lacks football IQ and plays soft. Not talking about the injuries. Just doesn’t concentrate through plays and thus rarely makes them. For what it’s worth, someone posted on this board that Philbin hated the pick and was not on board.
