Here is a copy of the email I sent to the Dolphins with my opinion and suggestions for the Dolphin franchise. I know its a just a coincidence but I found it funny that 5 out of the 6 on my cut list are now gone. Maybe Wayne is really checking the emails? HA.

P.S. I was a little aggressive with the zach and JT trades in retrospect.

I live in NYC and have followed the Dolphins wholeheartedly all my life and I have to say this is the lowest point I can remember. I would like to make a suggestion that we finally start over and clean house. Only then can we truly have a new face and optimism for this franchise. For too long have we gone on with the same players, some good, some mediocre. I have to say that I have been really disapointed in the following players for some time and as a fan have a hard time rooting for these guys, particularly because of their huge salaries and undeperformance:

1. Chris Chambers
2. Randy McMichael
3. Jeno James
4. Donnie Spragan (not a huge salary but is not a contributor to the Defense)
5. Jeff Zgonina (not a huge salary but is not a contributor to the Defense)
6. Olindo Mare.

I would also like you to consider the following as we need draft picks and more young stars:

1. Although painful, consider trading for pics-Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas. We need young playmakers and although I love them both they deserve better than to run out their career in Miami during rebuilding.
2. Consider any coach from Pittsburgh.

Thanks,
Dan (life long Fin fan)

Not to burst your bubble, but I highly doubt: a) that someone with authority in the organization actually reads the e-mails; and if they did b) that they would make personell decisions based on fan disappointment. Anyone who watched the Phins last year knew those guys seriously underperformed, and it was only a matter of time before they either released, not re-signed, or traded.

Nice email I take it they didnt reply? Its a nice coincidence that they booted most of the ones from your list.

Dude Donnie Spragan was one of our most consistant players on defense last year! wut are u talking about "doesnt contribute"??? That was one of our better investments low salary for a very decent football player whos not flashy but gets the job done! Its fools like u who absolutly no nothing about football! U embarresed urself with that letter, wow, if i wrote a letter they prob would think im T.S. Elliot compared to u!!!

I disagree. I'll bet that E-mail got sent to all the right people and that Cam and Randy read it together over some coffee and said: :smackhead he's right. These guys have been dead weight on the team, let's dump them. Now I'm sure they are finishing up trade talks with two different teams that will take JT and ZT and net us four 1st day picks and two 2nd day picks.

Just funnin' with you all.

 :hail: Thank you Fishyanks.. Your email finally got the dead weight off the team.. I'm sure if it wasnt for your email, the status que would have remained the same for many years to come. On behalf of everyone here at Finheaven, I applaud you and your actions.

This year will be entirely sucessful and we're now ensured to reach the playoffs, all can be credited to you and your email...

Thanks again so very much!!! :hail:

I don't see how you would feel that your email runs parallel with the offseason moves.

Good job taking the time to email them...But I'm sure the organization, as well as the vast majority of fans, all knew that James, Zognina, and Olindo would be gone...I dont think any of knew 100% about Spragon as (contrary to what you may believe) he was solid. McMichael was a 60/40 swing to get released and Chambers, although underperformed, was a def. stay...

spragan was a good role player and he would make a great back up here. People are off base with the dump spragan talk. you never heard his name called for a bad play or yes, a great one but he did his job.
