A coworker of mine is related to the GM of another NFL team. He came in to visit today and we were introduced. I asked him what he thought about Miami and he kind of chuckled and smiled. He said he did not see anything wrong with what went on in the locker room and felt Martin was acting soft. He didn't have a comment on Ireland but he did like Philbin. He didn't know me so obviously take this with a grain of salt. I also don't want to give his name because I would like to have more conversations with him in the future.

Since you don't want to tell us the name can you atleast us the team? Haha

He chuckled....I would guess that no GM would do this when being asked what he thought about this situation by anyone......it has to be Ireland,Nice Try.

EVERY SINGLE GM in the NFL knows Ireland is a joke..It is widely known he has no place being an NFL GM

You got that from 'no comment?'

Nice try

Yea obviously he wasn't going to just start telling me anything revealing but I thought it was cool that he made it a point to compliment Philbin.

I just listened to Bob Baumhower talk about this a little earlier. He said he talked with Larry Little, Marino, and a few others. Basically, he echoed my sentiments on the whole ordeal.

He said he was "bullied" (for lack of a better term) as a rookie... they all were. Especially by veterans well aware of who was coming to take their jobs. Said they fought all the time. Anyone who has been within 4 feet of a jockstrap in their life knows what goes on in a football locker room. However, he made the point that he would never have allowed anyone to take the game away from him. Most any player that loves to play the game feels this way.

Martin was looking for a way out.....and he got one. He's not cut out for football. How he made it this far is incredible in itself.

Incognito on the other hand, is his own worst enemy. There's not a team on any level that isn't better off without both of 'em. That's the bottom line.

As for Ireland, Baumhower knows what most folks already know. He's a joke. Pure and simple.

Had good things to say about the coaching staff though.

Here's the deal....Miami can do what they want to, it don't matter to me. I honestly don't see how a lot of you still pull for this organization. Nothing about 'em is worth your time. Unless you just happen to be a south Florida native and it's part of your makeup. That I understand....but beyond that I just don't get it.

There is no leadership within the organization.... and there hasn't been in over a decade. Until that changes, they're your same old Dolphins. Not even a shell of what they once stood for. Even former Dolphin greats know what the truth is. They've known for a long time.

As for the Martin/Incognito situation, there is no right answer at this point. Not for either side. The bottom line is that they're both victims of what the Miami Dolphins have become. That's just a fact.

Thanks OP! Now jusy keep it coming!
