I was just watcing NFL Live on ESPN, and they are so far up Tom Brady and the Patriots butt it is pathetic!!! I don't know why people refuse to give us credit for winning the AFC east last year. All they talk about are the PATS and JETS. No love at all for the PHINS. And then they showed the TOP 10 plays from week 2 preseason, and not to my suprise Deangelo Williams run against us was the TOP play. Now I agree it was BAD tackling and a good run by Williams, but what ticks me off is, they were saying how Coach Parcells should have us tackling more in practice or what ever. Why do people still act like Coach Sparano is just some puppet. Coach Sparano is the HEAD coach here not Parcells. That just makes my blood boil. Sorry but I just had to vent. Did I mention I hate ESPN and all those Tom Brady, and Mark Sanchez fanboys that work at the Network.
 
ESPN is in the ratings business. Patriots = ratings. Tom Brady = ratings. Just how it is. And there's a reason why Brett Favre and Mike Vick topple all topics. Those two are ratings gold.
 
It's very annoying but it may work to our benefit if the slight adds some motivation. If we can manage to win the AFCE again, I think some people are going to finally realize the that Dolphins are more than a fluke and may be on the cusp of being serious superbowl contenders.
 
yeah, i understand that, but it just seems to me, they are always hating on the dolphins. maybe i am just paranoid or something.

that is what i am hoping. nobody is taking us serious. they think we were just a one year wonder with the wildcat and all, but we are for real. we will make belivers out of these pat fanboys one way or the other. and i'm tired of hearing about this tough schedule. man everybody has a tough schedule. there are no easy games in the NFL.
 
I really hope our players aren't watching ESPN and keeping track of when they're talked about. And I haven't heard anyone hating on the Dolphins...and I'm CONSTANTLY watching ESPN.

well, i wouldn't exactly call it hating, more like lack of respect. i guess i should not complain about not being on the radar as a contender this year. just annoying to keep hearing about mark sanchez and tom brady every day.
 
Getting respect from ESPN is the last thing on the team's mind. That sort of stuff is for clowns like us to discuss on boards

exactly. i know the team and coaches could care less about what the talking heads have to say, this was just me venting after watching NFL live tonight, and seeing Deangelo running through our entire defense. lol
 
the fact they constantly talk about sanchez but largely ignore Stafford is proof it's all about ratings and market...if you needed any
 
espn is for dumbed down fans in large markets. THEY are the ones being insulted and without their even realizing it. If you stop getting emotional about the injustices and look at the big picture, it's kinda funny. it's really all just another corporate brainwashing scam on the consumers. pats, jets, dolphins, himalayan snow leopards, they couldn't care less. whatever hype makes the most money makes the RULES, forever, period.

Be what way? About ratings and market? Yeah, that's the point I'm making. No need to get riled up about it - it's just business. The Miami market just matters less in $$ than New York or the Northeast.
 
this is why i do not pay attention to them anymore the never give respect to none of the florida team, the only time it is the top story is when something goes bad, example back in the day canes. the only love we get is from baseball tonight from john kruk, on he loves marlins, and at least our 2001 canes get respect.

This was your first problem. Why are you still doing that when they just make you mad?

Do you continue to drink spoiled milk?

Do you continue to eat molded bread?

If you dropped a bowling ball on your foot would you do it again?

At some point this ceases to be an ESPN problem, and, becomes a "you" problem.
