Let me say I will NEVER root for the Colts organization ever again.

I used to root for them in spots where it didnt hurt us in any way if they win. Ive often rooted for them in the playoffs. I always had much respect for Mannings skills and liked watching him play.

But, after this disgrace today, I cant root for that orginization ever again. It certainly isnt Mannings fault, but the FO and coaches are ****ing idiots.

Letting a team into the playoffs the way they are the Jets hurts the integrity of the league IMHO.

Why would you not want to try and go undefeated? That is a great accomplishment. It makes no sense to not give it a shot. You already have the first 14 in the books.

I dont buy that whole bs about the pressure. If you dont feel pressure in the playoffs no matter if you went 16-0 or 15-1, then you arent human.

I think thats all bs about the extra pressure. It isnt why the Patriots got beat. They got beat because of Michael Strahan, Justin Tuck, Osi, and Eli Manning in the clutch at the end of the game.

**** the Colts. I hope the Chargers beat their ***. I suspected they were going to whether the Colts went undefeated in the regular season or not.

Dont agree with that WV.

If Manning gets his knee blown out in a game that does not effect their standing as the number one team in the AFC, then what happens?

You have every single fan, anaylist, expert, etc condemning Caldwell fro keeping him in there and in the process ends there chance of winning the superbowl. And all for what? Just to go 16-0?

People seem to forget that there is noting for going 16-0, no trophies or rings, its just an accomplishment.

What did the Pats get for going 16-0 in 07? Noting they got beat by a team that went 10-6. Yet those Giatns players have a ring for their accomplishment, the Pats dont.

The Colts owe noting to those teams vying for playoff spots. If all those teams had of taken care of their own business over the past few weeks then they wouldn't have been relying on the outcome of that game.

The Colts took care of their own business, protecting their franchise QB and not risking him in what was a meaningless game for them.

the chargers are a better team anyway, so in all likelyhood they will smoke the colts like a freshly rolled joint... the colts are based on ONE player and his ability to outscore the opposition... the colts deserve nothing... not 16-0, not a superbowl title, NOTHING! if they can't win as a team, they don't deserve to win wheather manning plays or not... they are not special, they are a football TEAM, just like the other 31 TEAMS and no matter what their bandwagon fans think they know that they can't win as a TEAM... they have to protect the only player that is worth two plug nickles in order to have a shot at a title

All you guys had to do was win last week or this week and you'd be in our position. Stop whining.

While the Colts likely win if he stays in let's not forget it was a 5 point game and we had the ball before Painter took over.

i wasn't whining... i was just making a point... although it does make me ill to think about ny winning even one game each season, but that is because i hate everything about ny the teams, the people, the smell, the polotics, the city itself... everything... i want to send the statue of liberty back to france with a nuke hidden inside and blow that crappy little country off the globe and then drop one on manhattan... i just hate everything ny... < now that is complaining

Sounds like you have personal issues you need to deal with.

Oh for christ sake, it isn't like we the fans decide what happens. Just because your team was on the positive side of an event where the coach rested the guys who would've beat you doesn't give you or anyone the right to preach. I know you like to stay mellow with the "oh I expected 6-7 wins this year so anything is a bonus" mantra but c'mon, you know you're excited as hell.

Sure the Dolphins blew it, why wouldn't they? This just gives you and your cronies more ammunition to use in our endless battle of "Best **** Team over the last 40 Years" contest.

For the most part you're right. I've said all along that the Dolphins need to worry about the Dolphins and no one else. These daily threads where posters come up with these miracle events to get us in the playoffs are mildly retarded at best. Win YOUR games and everything else takes care of itself. Don't blame Indianapolis for locking up the top seed in the playoffs and being able to do as they please in regards to resting players or going for it. They had options. We had one option and that option was to WIN. We did not.

As far as the Jets being down 5 in the thid quarter, let's not forget that the Colts have been on the ropes all season for three quarters only to beat everyone in the fourth. I knew the Jets were going to play them tough because each and every week it becomes moe and more difficult to maintain the level that the Colts were at. I didn't see them beating the Colts had Peyton and company stayed in the game.

I'm really excited, where did I say I wasn't?

I think what Indy did sucks but I'm glad we benfitted and all the teams complaining had chances to win yesterday and didn't.

Chances are Indy would have won but we'll never know. For all the heartbreak we have been through for so long it's nice to have a day like yesterday where everything broke our way.

Yeah the Phins blew it big time but that's to be expected. All I as a fan can do is support them no matter what and hope they come back next year even better. Good luck to you guys though

What's great about Iowa? The cow **** smell or those jackasses who wear masks known as Slipknot?

I read a tidbit the other day which said no team that has lost to the Jets during the regular season has ever gone on to win the Super Bowl that year. The Jets are the only team in the league with that distinction (heh heh... umm... =/ ). So the Colts just may have done themselves in yesterday.
